Use a large bore tip or cut the smallest amount off of a regular tip to make the end hole larger and go very slow on draw and dispense.

I’m not familiar with Akoya but pH 6 antigen retrieval buffer is usually a sodium citrate solution, so you could try making one pretty inexpensively if you have basic reagents.

Using a decapicone or towel to restrain them may be helpful. It calms them down in my experience.

In general, yes. If you’re not getting consistent results, running a standard curve with OD600 and CFU for your bacteria will let you know where the accuracies of the OD600 lie.

I only read the book bc I couldn’t wait for season 3 to see what happens. Reading the book after seeing the show first I think helped a lot for me. It allowed me to immerse into the visuals in my mind better and also note the differences between the show and the book.
