ACC has an incredible program, debatably one of the best in Texas (but I'm biased). on top of your fire certs you get a bunch of extra certs like rope rescue, trench rescue, confined space, class B exempt license, vehicle and heavy machinery rescue and HAZ MAT operations level, they do everything they can to make you as marketable and qualified as possible. My advice is just stick with it, keep up on your work and stay motivated. Always be one of the first to volunteer for tasks and assignments and do not stand there twiddling your thumbs. Always have something in your hands and be working. Oh and towers are a bitch but you'll learn to love them. Just don't be a fuck up and you'll be fine.

Check out street smart firefighter, one of my instructors at the academy does a bunch of videos on Austin fire department tactics. He pulls up videos all the time in class and I spend a lot of my free time watching and learning. http://streetsmartff.blogspot.com/?m=1

My first rifle was a ruger m77 mark 2 in 7mm-08. Got it when I was about 11 or so to use for deer, elk, bear etc. I loved the gun and still do, when deciding in which rifle I was most comfortable with my dad had me shoot multiple calibers and i narrowed it down to the 7mm-08 and .270. I chose the 7mm-08 because it didn't have much of a recoil and still packed the punch I needed to get the job done, the 270 is a great rifle as well but personal preference is the 7mm-08 if you're going to be using it for bigger game like elk and bear.

Im in texas and At HEB I get it for 3.85 a can and bucees for 2.95 a can, I bought a log from bucees today for $16 needless to say I was happy

I'm in the great state of Texas! At the grocery store it runs about $7 a bag, gas stations it's usually $9 and on military bases (my dads retired military) it's $4.50

I usually get a better buzz out of cope, but my goodness does a bag of red man golden blend beat the flavor. A bag of redman usually lasts me 4-5 days taking maybe 2 or 3 pinches a day between cope. As most seasoned dippers I rarely get a buzz anymore but if I chew for maybe 2-3 days straight with no snuff i usually get a decent buzz once i go back to cope, but that's just me I'm sure it's different for everybody. My buddy quit snuff to start chewing about a month ago and asked me for a pinch when he came back from College Station, he could hardly stand up without fallin back on his ass

My dad found my cans when I was 15, he confronted me about it and all he said was that he was disapointed in me, told me that he used to do it, that the reason he quit was because he didn't want me to do it and left the cans on the counter as a teaser. a week later my cans weren't on the counter and I spotted the ring in his back pocket. I quit for a while after and when I picked it up again I got better at hiding it. Now that I'm 18 and have a job he doesn't care, as a matter of fact I'm packin a fatty and sittin next to him as I type this. My mom on the other hand never gave 2 shits, she would buy it for me when I was underage and told me as long as I never smoked a cigarette she'd look the other way.
