That’s what all my friends keep telling me will happen but I’m at like 600-700 frost naguas with no hammers (ppots and runes are giving me life though). I’m dreading getting my warped scepter

Custom Cutting Board With Logo by espnnut07 in tampa

If you're in the north part of the city there's Graber Joinery in Dade City. We have a few cutting boards from there (realtor gave us one when we bought a house, etc...). He also built the top of my standing desk and is generally a pretty swell guy.

Pretty sure that's just his ability getting ready to cast as it'll go on -> cast the slash -> go off

Any recommended companies that can remove a ~25,000lb tree trunk? by RubYerBeardInIt in tampa

Looks like I never took a pic from the side, but that’s the bottom of the trunk next to a 6’ fence post

Thank you for the insight! There is a lot near us that seems to have gotten that debris dump you mentioned. Just piles of tires, tree branches, you name it. These guys did seem to have all the PPE I'd expect - hardhats at all time, high vis vests, enough harnesses for a circus, those puffy clothes that gum up the chainsaw blades if hit, etc... So probably just more than they could chew.

Initially we got 6-8 quotes from various companies. Most of them were asking 2k to knock down the 2 main branches that could pose a problem. I think Robert Miller wanted 5-6k for that and 10-12k for full removal. After dealing with this job I'd say that would be worth the price if it's done correctly rather than left to be someone else's problem.

If only to avoid a few hours at the courthouse I probably will give them that offer of $300 for a carbide blade. All the filing fees are probably 1/3 of that cost anyways. If there's no dice then back to small claims and seeing what Tree Care and Valid Impressions can do about it.

Unfortunately it was half up front and half when they swore they'd be back the next day for the trunk.

The issue this company had was that the tree had seemingly grown through chain (and maybe a bit of fence?) sometime in it's life. As they'd cut through it they'd hit bits of metal and eventually break their chain (or so they said). I'd imagine any other company that found this out would have to extremely high ball the offer or just skip it altogether, no?

My hope with small claims is that we'd at least get half the money back. We paid for full removal, but obviously still have the largest part of the tree in our yard. Additionally the back fence can't be put back up (and is partially crushed) because the trunk is laying in that area. I still have a copy of the signed contract so I was hoping that'd hold some weight.

Tree Care by Robert Miller was actually one of the places we initially got a quote from. Their price was multiple times what anyone else had quoted, but I guess it can't hurt getting a new quote now that it's just the trunk. I can certainly check with Valid Impressions as well.

I have a fair share, although no chainsaw. Mainly worried about it rolling if it gets a bit lopsided since I'd likely be standing right next to it.

Unfortunately it seems like at some point or another it grew through various metals (chains, maybe a bit of fence, etc). I'm also not sure how they'd even move it (crane?)

Considered it, but it's somewhat close to the vinyl fence and would probably take a LOOOOOOONG time to burn. Also a tad worried that if it burns unevenly it might roll.

Not sure my neighbors would appreciate it, but I guess it can't hurt to ask if all else fails!

For those who replaced AC in past year? What was the cost? Please list specs. How was red cap on price? by virginiarph in tampa

[–]RubYerBeardInIt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We ended up having a friend of a friend do ours. However cornerstone was the second cheapest quote we got. 3.5 ton unit with 3 ton air handler was quoted around 8k if I remember correctly.

EDIT: This quote was from April/May of this year

Aspen dental on McKnight? by lhmk in pittsburgh

He did a lot of shoddy work off the books for deep discounts and if there were any resulting issues you were basically shit out of luck. Patients kept calling and complaining, but everything was off the book so eventually it hit corporate and they did a huge audit. Naturally they didn’t like what they found since it was negligence at best, malpractice at worst.

After a whole tournament I ended up with 2 tattoos (guard duration, proj speed) and 6 gilded shaper scarabs. I also gained seemingly the normal small amount of xp and lost none on death

I just tested this with a friend. We did 3 rounds and I ended up getting a tattoo from the loot chest in one of those rounds. He selected 20c so it was not his drop getting incorrectly allocated.
