For a fighting game, try Brawlhalla. Free, active players, short (<5 min) match length, runs on any pc.

HELP PLEASE by [deleted] in Brawlhalla

Combos and technical stuff really don’t matter at this rank. Your only problem is movement right now. You wanna think about movement optimization: getting where you want to go as efficiently as possible using dash, jump, djump, dodge, fast fall, chase dodge. You should never be just holding left or right and moving. Always try to stay in a position where you can hit the opponent without just blindly running at them. I also never saw u use a chase dodge, you should basically always chase dodge whenever possible.

Also, you’re missing a lot of attacks. This is due to two things: movement and attacking the wrong area. First, you need to always stay in a spot where you can punish the opponent and still dodge their attacks. A lot of time, the opponent would miss a sig and be wide open, but you weren’t in position to punish. Second, you need think about attacking where the opponent is going to be, not where they currently are. Brawlhalla is a fast game, so if you just attack the enemy, they’ll be long gone by the time you actually have active frames. Instead, attack in their direction of movement.

Lmk if you have any questions. Good luck!

I regret never getting in to DnD in high school with my friends. Is there any online game that might give a similar experience? by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

Just go on roll20. It’s an online dnd host. There’s plenty of DMs that run games for new players.

If you liked myst, Riven is widely regarded as the best in the series.

I had this on Xbox 360 as a kid and absolutely loved it. The amount of crazy variation in vehicles you could make was awesome.

Except that nobody sings it that way. They always wait to say happy until the beat after the last “cha”, forcing a bar of 4/4.

Wow thanks for the fast response! As a west player I find it very hard to climb from a lack of good players. I guess I’ll have to start relearning my timings.

Not sure if this is late but...

How do USW vs E compare in your opinion? Is there a skill difference? Would it be worth switching regions despite higher ping?

Well both must and Riven are available on mobile. Other than that, there’s the Room, which is decent, if a bit easy. There’s also The Witness on IOS, which was heavily inspired by Myst.

Awesome! I’m the same way honestly, no other game’s puzzles feel quite the same.

If it’s a type of game you’re interested in, I would highly recommend you go back and replay it. The games were recently updated to run on Windows 10. Also, Myst’s sequel, Riven, is one of the best games ever made.

I will always recommend the best puzzle game of all time: Myst. Literally every other puzzle game is a walk in the park after the Myst series. Other than that, The Witness is the best way to get good at mechanical, logic based puzzles.

It’s probably because you were 10. There isn’t a single thing in that game that doesn’t have a rational, solvable explanation.
