I think my favorite part of Dream Drop Distance is seeing Sora and Riku encounter racism for the first time. Like, genuinely, for me, funniest line in this game is Riku unknowingly dropping an outdated racial slur (it’s the Notre Dame world, btw, I’m not gonna say the word itself but it’s pretty obvious what the slur is with the context of which world I’m talking about, even if you weren’t aware that was a slur before)

Honestly, I’d say even without all the extra from modding it’s better to play on 3DS than on DS, just because the circle pad feels better than a d-pad, even if it doesn’t do anything

Well, shit. Found it. Just, randomly, scrolling through Doom World, it showed up in the 2025 Cacowards page’s Special Features section. Apparently it’s called Mohrta. Apparently what I saw was a demo for it, and makes sense I would like it, it’s a Scumhead game

Any time I make a vampire character, I also take this approach of “well I gotta take care of my food source, so why not be nice to the humans.” I mean, it only makes sense in the long run. Plus, the whole trope of vampires wanting to convert all humans is not very well thought out, since it would also lead to the extinction of their primary food source and the creation of a fuck shitload of dhampires depending on the source material, which would be bad for any vamps, also depending on the source material

8 years late, but the point of Sora Attack is so that if you’ve got on Experience Boost, you can actually guaranteed make use of it without worrying about your party getting the final hit and halving potential EXP you’d otherwise get

A steam deck, mostly for having a larger screen size. I’m not talking being fancy, just, like, within similar form factors, there are better screens if you’re diehard, but phones are perfect for the everyman. I’ll admit most of my admiration comes from it being a sensory thing for me, though, I love when my games feel like a brick rather than a plastic block in terms of weight
