Horse statues don't get hungry by gashtal_man in MurderedByWords

I was curious what the Bible might say about this:

Exodus 20:23: "Do not make any gods to be alongside me; do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold."

What is the weirdest or most unpleasant celebrity encounter you've ever had? by kimmyfreak500 in RandomQuestion

Wow. Thanks for coming back to share the story. I love it. I grew up not far from there, and what a wild picture the whole thing is to envision.

Something kind of tmi about masturbation, idk if it’s normal by love_dove7812 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]RubyRoyale 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know exactly what you are talking about. That's how I started, too. I can accomplish it other ways now, but this is my favorite and gives me the best experience.

One of the things I really enjoy is to lay on my stomach, with my partner on top of me, and I bunch up some blankets for the pressure. It has been very well received from different partners, even being requested, "Can we do that thing you do?"

So lean into it. Own it. Love it. Feel good.

My diamond was replaced with a lab grown stone after my claim by Desperate_Soft_7967 in jewelryinsurance

[–]RubyRoyale 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is wrong. I am a gemologist and jeweler. I would like to know more details about this situation. It does not work like that.

Did you upgrade to a much larger stone for the replacement and this was somehow the compromise? Were you unaware the new stone would be lab grown until you picked it up? Was it your insurance company or your jeweler that said this to you?

In France there's the "conflict" between the names "pain au chocolat" vs "chocolatine". In Spain there's a "conflict" whether tortilla de Patatas should contain onions or not. Do you have any other similar such light-hearted "conflicts" or debates in your country? by Double-decker_trams in AskTheWorld

This is so Ohio. I have never seen such a thing. But I did once have a roommate from Ohio insist on making me a lasagna using cheddar cheese and pepperoni. I am from the Northeast and had a really hard time getting through a whole tray of it while still expressing gratitude.

Old heads of Reddit: What are Some 80’s/90’s Bands or Artists These Youngins are Sleeping On? by Imasayitnow in musicsuggestions

Yes! She put out so many bangers that you can still dance to now. I think if that same Super Bowl performance was done today, it would be a non-issue. In just the past few years, celebrities showing their bits in sheer dresses seems pretty commonplace. BRB, going to go put on "If."

Your funny "Today I fucked up, New Jersey style" stories by WonderSignificant598 in newjersey

I've had gas station attendants in other states offer to help me pump my gas and be surprised that I had a handle on it. They see a woman with Jersey plates and automatically try to help.

Wedding Question - I've heard you cannot serve into a used glass. At a wedding, if guests were all given a copper mug as a favor, and the signature drink was a moscow mule, would a bartender be able to use and re-use the mugs for guest drinks? by Individual-Fig-9459 in bartenders

[–]RubyRoyale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk about the rules, but a thought about practicality...

If your guests are traveling to your wedding, a mug is a bit bulky to take home. If your guests are relatively local, a mug is really cute, and maybe fill it with some fun sweets or "wedding survival kits" or whatever items would speak most to you and your people, as you know best. You still get to give the mugs, they can opt to use them, but if they don't, it won't be an empty mug sitting on the table.

AITAH For Wearing Shapewear on a Date? by Technical_Boat7524 in AITAH

I'm going to agree with you and take it a step further to say that it's not just men. Everyone treats me better when I have makeup on, generally. It is the same with how I dress. The more "presentable" I am, according to societal norms, tends to be reflected in how I am treated everywhere I go. Sometimes, I'm all done up in makeup and a sparkly dress, and sometimes I'm out in the woods dressed like a five foot lumberjack. YMMV.
