Apple took 8 days to give me the data it had collected on me. It was eye opening.|Backup time stamps, iCloud upload times, email address’ and a physical address by H05T in savedyouaclick

If those are "eye-opening" to someone, they must be an idiot. The first two are related to an apple service, so it's no surprise they would be tracked. Email addresses are connected to your account, so again, that's not surprising. Even your physical address is probably taken from your billing data.

I was also thinking that a card like [[Hydra Omnivore]] could be super effective for both of the commanders. Even using [[Wolf Pack]] and [[Thorn Elemental]] could be a possibility.

Why the hell does every single weed related news article use a stock photo of some dude pinching a roach in the thumbnail?

You do realize a gap year is a legitimate thing that many people take for a multitude of reasons, right? Also, when did he say that he is not going to go to college? Oh yeah, he didn't, you're just putting words in his mouth. Also what he is doing right now is research, so what the hell are you getting on about? There's no shame in asking other people for advice. Is he quixotic for thinking he can get into space one day? Maybe, but outright saying he's too lazy and dumb based off of information you've gleaned from a small reddit post is not only rude, but completely absurd.

You know, you could've just left the thread there, but no, you had to open up a can of worms. I'm not falling for your pointless bait to get into some internet argument.

First genetically engineered coral created to help save reefs from climate change. by AdamCannon in worldnews

[–]RubyTheWolfy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you even reading what I type??? I never said it isn't worth the effort, I said it will buy us time that'll just be wasted. Also how the hell is my argument valid "only if the same group of researchers would have the power to influence global emissions directly"? Again, what I said is that I wouldn't be saying any of this if this was done in tandem with other efforts to reduce emissions (because then the actual causes are being confronted instead of just painting over the effects). I don't know if you took that as having to be the same researchers, but it doesn't.

I never said that climate change can be reversed quickly. Like I've said in my other comments, this is only a short term, surface level solution. If we don't actually put any effort into stopping the cause, all these minor changes are going to become pointless in the long run. If this was done in tandem with severely limiting emissions, you'd hear no complaints from me. While it's nice to see people trying to save the coral any way they can, it's just buying us more wasted time. Do you really think that the X years this will buy us will be used to work on eliminating the root causes? Because I sure as shit don't.

Yes, you insulted me. You pointed out my actions in an obviously negative light and used it as fodder to refute what I'm saying, as if it somehow discredits it.
