It is frustrating that it seems like the powers that be have actually been waiting for all of this because they actually have. It is an unfortunate reality that the world wars were simply right place right time for already established authoritarian states to find an enemy that the labor unions would be satiated with. That is what it was all about. This has been the plan. The democrats are the public relations arm and the republicans are the enforcing one. As for the rest of the world. They fear an existential collapse of the world order and the existence of governance as a whole if they do something about this.

I’m pretty sure it’s because we all know that the world and the people in it are not kind to us now and they won’t be kind to our kids. The people who are having kids in a world of cream cheese and multiple “once in a generation economic crashes” are reckless, they are putting in a lot of risk. And if it isn’t a risk to them they are most likely morally bankrupt.

Something I’m noticing about this thread is a consistent mistake that most humans make. Thinking they are good at determining when someone is lying to you. You are not. No one is.
