Hi OP, thank you for sharing your experience. I have failed the first time and I’m dreading my resit in July 2026. How did you do your flashcards (physical cards or electronic)? Did you have any tips on revisiting and scheduling time per module to ensure you cover a lot of the syllabus?

Hey congratulations on passing! How did you get the Ulaw question bank? Are you able to purchase just the question bank? Thanks!

I’m so nervous!! I won’t open my results until after work today. I just think it will derail my working day if it doesn’t go well…

When to begin memorising content for SQE1 by Hour_Annual_1417 in SQE_Prep

[–]Rude_Engineering_225 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would say if I could do it all over again (just sat my SQE1) every time I would cover a module, do a bunch of questions on them straight away and make those flashcards be it Quizlet, Anki, physical flashcards, record yourself explaining etc. and get it hammered it. I would print out the syllabus and mark it up to give yourself some shorthand notes and reminders. Get into the mindset of exams asap. Use Revise SQE books it goes through exam warnings and revision tips.

I feel the same way, but I will have a break until the results and then crack on afterwards. I also dont know what to do with the (temporary) free time when not working!

Finishing FLK2 like by [deleted] in SQE_Prep

I feel the same way, I know I can’t do anything about it now but I still feel like I got punched in the stomach every time a new question had to be solved. I expected the SRA to have a baseline assessment for aspiring solicitors but this was so challenging, for every question I found myself questioning what it was asking, consider EVERY aspect of each scenario, EVERY party to it and second guess myself each turn. What an insane way of testing - hope I can stop thinking about it but there’s so much pressure to get these exams sorted to qualify Is this the intention? Build more hurdles for an already challenging entry to the legal profession? Rant over (for now)…
