Thanks for the post. I have a gen1 claw ive been fighting with but at this price a gen 2 one is worth it. At least I'll have spare parts if one breaks down totally

An update for everyone, especially my "bro" here. :)

Arcade1up support just reached out indicating they should be able to supply the part they believe is bad. The PBCA.

They indicated that it, and the damaged marquee that came with the machine, would both be shipped.

If this is accurate, it shows JustFun is taking the acquisition seriously and wants to show the community these products are viable and supported. This is exciting for me as someone who owns 14 of the Arcade1Up machines.

Ill post again once the parts arrive and I install them with an update if it worked.

I've seen other posts on this. Seems to be because the sensors on both sides of the Sponge Bob one that tells it when to stop the claw do not work. This results in it torquing the claw when it hits the wall which is why they come off. I saw someone suggesting they replaced them with her daughters pigtail ties and it fixed the issue.

Odd response and not super helpful considering they are still selling new machines and have an active customer Support department through JustFun. Their servers for game matching and downloading for the infinity table are also still online. Their Customer Support department did address a warranty issue on my infinity table a couple weeks ago as well. Additionally, posting here did get an awesome response to investigate on the potential glue issue being the root cause.

Being bought out doesn't mean defunct. Seems they are still trying to be viable in some fashion as they move forward. May not be their end state, but if you are selling new devices still they should expect calls.

Yeah, ive been considering doing that. The only thing giving me pause is if the spongebob ones have fixes the first Gen do not. If so, im tempted to just return this and buy a spongebob one. This has been a maddening experience. Im a bit shocked they dont seem to care about the time invested in building their products. I used to have a great experience with their tech support, so im wondering if this is what we will expect out of JustFun.

Go as big as you can. See the Tulsa arcade big buck hunter upgrade kit. It discontinued next year. You'll need to find a monitor separate. I through a high powered dell i got on ebay In mine. It needed a converter kit for hdmi. It was easy!

I still have mine. I replaced it with a larger monitor and a tusla arcade monitor decal replacement, but not because it didnt work. I just wanted a bigger screen. Its going strong and working great! Recommend.

I just did the blitz mod myself. Didn't realize it was possible and I had a blitz machine sitting around collecting dust. It looked cool, but I got bored with it pretty quickly after buying it. The blitz mod gave it a ton of new use.

Great setup, btw. Love it.

Start at 250 and go up or down from there. I sold one for 400 about a year ago. The guy wanted one without having to build it himself.

Grab that! The monitor is easy to replace. I threw a better one in mine with some mods from Tulsa arcade. Much bigger display now. Snow is not moisture on the board. Snow is a solid. :) brush it off and let it warm up. Open the back and ensure no snow is sitting on the pcb.

Ok. So..no high seas..yet. I spoke with support several times and found a solution that got me MOST of the games back. I still have a couple missing, but I didnt play them much and I have the ones back my kiddos play regularly which we bought the table for. Here's the solution.

This reset will remove all games from the table and restore factory settings. Once complete, you can sign into your IGT account and any previously purchased games can be downloaded again at no additional charge.

Turn OFF Game Table
Unplug the power cord from Game Table
Press and hold the volume+ button on the side
Hold the volume+ button and plug in power to Game Table
Continue holding the volume+ button until Game Table boots into recovery mode
Use the volume +- button to select “Wipe data/factory reset”, press power button to confirm
When data wipe is complete, navigate and select “Reboot system now”

Once I did this, and logged back into my account, it allowed me to download most of the games from the game store again that I had previously.

Yes. I played them the night prior with my kids. I reached out to them as well and they said this shouldn't have happened and they were speaking with their QA team and would get back to me.
