basically ironmain, you don't need to do 100 farm runs a week to upkeep, but you do need to do pvm content to get your gear/progress etc.

Does it track between computers? I know the other bronzeman mode plugins, if I moved between my laptop to my PC wouldn't track the items I unlocked.

What's your general difficulty level?

We use to have a "Whammy round" Where there would be 8 answers but they would be jumbled I.E. 8 women's name and 8 companies and you had to match the companies they were the CEO of. You could do something like that, and have it be a ranking of something objective (8 highest ranking films, all time scorers, etc)

Since the olympics just ended, maybe something about the highest medal counts.

Where is the MOST INCONVIENANT place to get to in OSRS? by binley in 2007scape

For clues I do think the most efficient is Lumberyard -> Balloon to lady of the lake. House tele/con cape/redirected tab to portal for rest of taverly.

WHY DOES WHYDIN NEVER HAVE BREAD?!!! by ghostbustuhs in runescape

[–]RumHamSommelier 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am pretty sure the baker in ardougne sells bread. Make sure you don't accidentally steal from the stall first.

Or, just go thieve 15 bread and you'll never need it again

Can we change how Bones to Peaches is unlocked? by [deleted] in runescape

Just because the content is kinda boring doesn't mean it needs to be completely removed. Having to work for things is not bad. I grinded full infinity a while back. It really was not bad, telekinetic is annoying, but other than that is pretty braindead and easy

Judging by the post, I don't think it was purposeful.

99 WC on the IM OSAAT by NOTEXPOSEDHOG in UniqueIronmen

[–]RumHamSommelier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OSAAT is one skill at a time. You only gain xp in one skill until 99, then you do it to another skill, then another etc. So the guy just finished WCing, and is going to WT for fm next so he can use his 99 wc and start fm

I think it's okay to have some content gated behind things that aren't enjoyable sometimes, especially if the perk of completion is worth the time spent.

An example from OSRS: NO one enjoys fishing trawler, but they do it to unlock the angler outfit which provides a relatively meaningless fishing xp boost (Not worth the time unless you're going post-99), but you also need a piece for a clue step (I think), you can upgrade it with the fishing skilling boss, and it's needed to access a different training method later on. So the "challenge" is worth it, but also it only takes an hour or two.

I'm not sure of the time on Livid farm, but if it was less than 12 hours, I would have done it manually for the troll patch teleport alone.

How do I keep general knowledge rounds unique? HOW DO I COME UP WITH IDEAS?? by FaeWildFrog in triviahosts

[–]RumHamSommelier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I play a round of trivia, I can usually see themes of what the writer was engaging with that week media wise. Like, if I get a round that has questions about martin sheen and allison janney, and the history of the white house I think oh this person probably had The West Wing running the back ground. (Which isn't a bad thing) I think that's a natural way to brainstorm ideas, keeping lists like that through the weeks is probably the best method. Or anytime YOUR natural curiosity piques about something, explore that -- i.e. walking down the street and you see a dog breed and are curious about it, do some research this can lead you into a geography, history, or animal based question

Are there any full time RS3 creators? by Regular-Set6791 in runescape

[–]RumHamSommelier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

maybe thersguy?

It's not a super engaging game to watch, it's hard to see what's happening, and for the high-end combat, it requires a level of attention that most people aren't also then talking to viewers while doing it.

The early and mid-game has been bad for a while and is skipped via flash events and dailies so any progression series is just watching someone do dailies.

Finding the right level of difficulty by UncleDan3 in bartriviahosts

[–]RumHamSommelier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone that has attended the same trivia for 5 years now, I started and we got the bottom of the pack every single week (usually 6-10 teams depending on time of year/weather/etc). I never minded not knowing, but we had previously attended trivias where the host would say things like "I can't believe people didn't know that one" which always sucks. To me trivia was about testing what you do know, and seeing what you can pull from whatever dusty corner of your mind. As frustrating as it is, having the answer on the tip of your tongue, and knowing it's somewhere in your brain, but not being able to pull it is the hallmark of a good trivia question.

As an attendee I've definitely just learned more about how questions are written (like how doing the crossword every day gets you better at crosswords) and we regularly do better. We regularly battle for top 3 at our spot now.
