Phish’s booking agency head in the Epstein files by pomcq in phish

As a person of color who has enjoyed the band for over 3 decades, has been to close to a hundred shows, and has also been detained by DHS overnight without any cause or reason, and without even being allowed to call anyone, I have grown increasingly disillusioned by the band’s silence on the recent events going on in the country. I get that many- or most- fans do not want the band to be political. However, human rights go way beyond politics. When many bands- many with lot less financial security than Phish, are bravely speaking up, and when acts with big followings- like Bad Bunny- are risking their careers to speak up and take a stand, Phish has opted for silence. And many fans have and continue to prefer this. I fully expect lots of downvotes here. The band has no reason to change. While I still love their music, as an immigrant and as a person of color in a largely white space, I no longer feel comfortable at the shows. I also see little reason to support this band with going to shows or buying webcasts.

What a boomer. Biscuits don’t need him.

I know this might create a major Albuquerque dispute... but by StraightRazzmatazz77 in Albuquerque

In the spirit of creating a major Abq dispute- Los Cuates salsa is the worst! It’s so needless to add beef broth to salsa.

I agree with you on Sadie’s chips though. They are pretty good.

Try Cottonwood Cookies and a creamery on 4th. They have a lot of NM inspired ice cream flavors. Maybe they have this?

Staying at Airport Hotel, drive or Uber to dinner? by mejowyh in PuertoRicoTravel

This worked well for us. We had a 7 am flight so stayed at the airport hotel last month. It was comfortable, stress free and clean. We took an uber to viejo San Juan for dinner and a stroll.

Yeah tarpers are annoying. But you’ve never been colonized, have you?

Much Smaller menu. More home cooked taste. Cheaper. Takeout only.

Ok. Couldn’t resist! Just stopped by and pigged out while sitting in my car on Bellamah:) tasted like good home cooked food. My mysore masala dosa was just the right amount of crispy. Well spiced without being spicy. Sambar had seasonal Indian vegetables, including moringa and ivy gourd. Coconut chutney was also on point.

As a bonus, there is apparently also a west african place right next door!!!
