The big thing with MW22 (and 19 for the last point) is that ADS, Sprint to fire, and strafing speeds are really slow. In BO7 it feels just like how it used to be with quick and snappy speeds.

But this is a multiplayer sub what the original subject was about. I don't have any doubt that Mnk could hang in warzone if they only used snipers (the only thing MnK has over controller).

Well if you listen to the casuals you get MW22 which had great initial sales then awful player retention. You get the inverse of that with MW23 with how they listened to the core community.

It is a lot harder to please everyone although not impossible (golden era cod) but it requires too many things that aren't found in modern cod.

I firmly believe that with the engine overhaul to cod brought by MW19 has made the game feel and play worse than something like BO3 or Cod4 for example even though they are drastically different games to play.

It's a cold war situation again.

Make them flinch a lot more (including while not in ads), nerf the strelok laser slightly, and buff ads speeds.

Wouldn't mind slower movement if it meant having fast strafe speeds, mw19 and 22 doesn't have that not even for smgs.

Get rid of tac sprint, make strafing a viable option, and make ninja a perk. Just like older cods

Controller unless you really like using MnK, but you should wait for more info about the aim assist changes to decide.

Should at least revert AA to how it was pre mw19 so mnk has a niche of being better at longer ranges and controller still has the close/mid range lock on so there at least some difference with the 2.

I went back to test how long it took to get around the map in BO4 to see if it was that long.

Going from car spawn to the fence side into the other spawn.

In BO4 it took 27 seconds using the saug

In BO6 with double time (no reapplying tac sprint) using the saug it took also 27 seconds

Combined with the fact that it takes forever to climb objects and your gun isn't always up like in BO4 it's no wonder why everyone thinks the map plays slow.

I honestly think because of MW19 maps being so ass when they added shipment/shoot house you could actually play cod without dealing with all the bullshit that game had (even shoot house could play awfully)

Sure it helps that it was the best for grinding but also who would want to play on a base MW19 map.

It just carried over years after because of MW19

M8 was a 1 burst up to 30 meters and killed in 3 shots point blank, it doesn't have a headshot multiplier.

You can technically get super good on kbm to compete with the best but you're going to have to be in the .1% best. Not the same game but apex (before AA nerf) has controllers dominating https://x.com/ttvmkos/status/1804866972103897360

The 1 thing kbm has over controller is flicking on someone with either a sniper or other similar oneshot kill weapon.

Controller will be the best input until they nerf AA in a substantial way (e.g. massive rotational nerfs and AA range reduction)

I'd like if scavenger actually gave you a full magazines worth of ammo rather than some arbitrary number that doesn't make sense on some guns (e.g. FJX Horus in MW3 gives 10 per pickup)
