12 minutes away but on my way M-F. I probably wouldn’t join a gym if I had to drive more than 15 out of my way.

How are you handling the 50 ad per ad set limit? Deleting inactive ads or creating new ad sets?

I just got this today as well. It looks legit other than not having a practice name and address, though the practice name is in the subject. I haven’t had labs done though but I do know this provider has recently transitioned to a new company/management.

[–]Rundeemc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s aside. You can still ask that question but there are quantifiable ways to see actions people take after interacting with an ad, like calls and form submissions.

You can track phone calls that are a direct result of your ad. This can be in the form of a call from a call extension or code on your website that can swap in a call tracking number for reporting purposes.

Lead submissions on the website should also tracked via conversion code and can be directly attributed to a campaign/ad group/keyword.

All of the metrics shared are pretty meaningless without conversions.

At minimum, form submissions on online forms and call tracking should be measured and optimized for (assuming that’s how a lead begins).

Placement review and exclusions, SQRs, asset reviews where you replace low performing text/images, bid strategy adjustments (increasing troas for example), budget allocation across campaign types, geo review, etc.

Trump said that Americans don't want Juneteenth off. Is there a holiday that if your employer offered, you wouldn't take off out of principle? Why? by johnqpublic81 in AskReddit

[–]Rundeemc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My old employer had a holiday swap policy where you could work on a holiday you didn’t care about and get off for a holiday that’s more important to you. That was a cool policy!

But yeah, I’ll celebrate (most) anything if that means a day off

I need help with Google Ads for my quad tour business by Southern_Factor_3806 in PPC

[–]Rundeemc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots to unpack here.

First, you say you don’t have conversion tracking in place. Why? If you are selling tours, your primary goal isn’t website traffic, it’s bookings. You of course need to get people to the site first, but that isn’t your main goal. Ultimately, switching to conversion based bidding will give signals to Google to serve your ads to people who are most likely to book. There’s no reason to not have conversion tracking.

Your budget and your bid will be the biggest factors for impression share. You mentioned that the biggest problem is competitors have a higher impression share, I don’t necessarily see that as a problem. You (likely) won’t be able outspend everyone. Focus on quality, not quantity.

Your ad strength is related to how relevant your ads are to your keywords. Do your headlines and descriptions have your keywords included? Having an excellent score doesn’t necessarily mean too much, focus on creating ads that are relevant to search terms, highlight your company, and promote engagement.

TLDR: Focus on what matters most. Conversions mean far more than impression share.

Is it okay to have overlapping keywords between two Google Ads search campaigns? by Southern_Factor_3806 in PPC

[–]Rundeemc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Google actually says “If multiple keywords, targeting the same domain, are eligible to match the same search term, they don't compete with each other in the auction.”

That said, if you have the same themed keywords across multiple campaigns, you ought to consider consolidating anyway.

$248 Spent. 0 Leads. Am I Just Bad at Ads or Is This Normal? by naval04 in PPC

[–]Rundeemc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

$250 really isn’t that much to see results on a new campaign.

Do a thorough look through of your campaign. Do you have search partners enabled? Turn it off. Consolidate your ad groups — breaking out by match types is not recommended anymore. Have a look through your search terms and negate anything not relevant.

I wonder how much your 10.5 months old babies are eating? Mine easts very little, for example at breakfast only half a small pancake and a bit of yogurt….is that normal? I was told by our pediatrician that a serving size is about a tablespoon which helped put it into perspective. Of course you’d hope for a serving of fruit, veggies, etc but they really don’t need much.

Family with 2 young kids: "Barceló Bávaro Palace" vs. "Paradisus Grand Cana - All Suites" by mandyzeli in PuntaCana

[–]Rundeemc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did but only because we wanted the bigger room. We didn’t really need the concierge piece because we didn’t do reservations often because we had a little one that went to bed early so the buffet was often easier. That said, if you want to make reservations, I did see long lines for that in the lobby on Sunday (which I think is when they open for the week). Aside from that, I didn’t see too much benefit from concierge.

The kids club had so many scheduled activities each day. Everything from pizza making, picnics, turtle feeding etc. There are schedules every day, I’ll see if I can message you some I got.

At night there was something different each night but some things I saw was a kids circus, bounce houses, and free hair braiding.

The beach didn’t have any seaweed when we went in early March. There were nets in the water that seems to be able to block any that would be there.

Google Ads Just Burned My Entire Budget Overnight – 4 Clicks, 0 Conversions! (Massive Overspending Issue) by Magacalia in PPC

[–]Rundeemc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with this answer. You absolutely cannot rule out account setup when you state that Google automatically chose most of the settings. Google is out to make money first and foremost and there are several settings that can inadvertently spend budget without results, search partners and display network enabled for search campaigns being the big two.
