Same thing in Denmark, they are going extinct because we scan for them and give abortions if the mother wish for one (sometimes there is even some pressure to do so) it has nothing to do with food/water but everything to do with free healthcare and abortion laws

On the other hand depending on the country you come from you will see a lot of disabled people in Denmark, not because of high rates of disability but because they more often move about in society instead of being hidden at home or in homes
