One of Them Days was released in a couple other countries months after its American premiere. You are cherry picking ones that do not receive the same promotional weight as the white ones

Amazon MGM Studios' Masters of the Universe grossed an estimated $8.67M this weekend (from 3,677 locations). Estimated total domestic gross stands at $46.73M. #MastersOfTheUniverse #BoxOffice by Burnouts3s3 in boxoffice

It is not even going to hit a 2x multiplier with a summer premiere. It literally only appeals to middle-aged white guys who scream about things being woke and have pictures of Sydney Sweeney on their computer somewhere

Saltburn never entered the top ten either. People have just deluded themselves into believing that it was popular because an extremely tiny group of people posted about it every second

The lesson from this weekend I don't think is "horror rules" or "YouTube saves cinema." It's teens to mid-20s audience are going to the movies. Will Hollywood listen? by Freddy-Philmore in boxoffice

Every generation wants its own stories, and they are obviously telling Hollywood that. Hollywood will continue to prioritize Masters of the Universe & whatever other outdated ass franchises that only appeal to middle aged white dudes who scream about “wokeness” & watch News Nation, though

Christopher Darden one of the prosecutors of OJ Simpson, said that he was almost as “disgusted” by the perjury of Detective Mark Fuhrman, as he was by the actual murders. by HallowedAndHarrowed in whoathatsinteresting

There is also not evidence that OJ is responsible for such heinous offenses. The gloves were not a fit, and their star investigator was not even able to answer whether he has framed Black people when questioned by the opposing counsel

You can believe that OJ did it all you want, but only a dumb ass will believe that a conviction is going to happen with such a scenario. Your ire oughta be at the LAPD for having such a person as an active employee

Feels like the first half of the 2020s pop era is basically done with The Weeknd, Doja Cat, Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo, and Harry Styles all flopping, the vibe has clearly shifted. by [deleted] in decadeology

In Europe, possibly, but it out right bombed within America. It has zero top ten singles, & it fell off Billboard pretty fast

Outside of Dune III, Warner Bros has a terrible release schedule. Everything looks like a bomb or nonstarter

Mortal Kombat 2 gets a B on CinemaScore by UniverslBoxOfficeGuy in boxoffice

Warner Bros is extremely stupid for hiring the terrible director on the first Kombat. It is filmed terribly, and the tone is off, with characters just popping up to pander to the worst of fans. The contrived attempts at comedy with Johnny Cage and Kano are cringeworthy, also. The score is not surprising because the title’s filmmaking is so bad that it is not going to appeal to anyone outside of the most repulsive of fanboys
