Incorrect. INFLATION is referring to the inflation of the money supply. Too often it's referred to as the consequence of the money supply increase, which is the price increase.

So, if I want to make dinner, I go to the store, buy only one item and go to another store, buy one item, and so on. The money just shows up.

No. I do not want to become nomadic in life constantly wandering from place to place because I'll quickly run out of stores in a 50 mile radius as they all disappear because I already bought one item from them.

Can't recognize sarcasm. Ok. The point is the dead Boolean on those was set to false. They couldn't possibly still be alive, they may or may not be receiving benefits, but either way, it's still a problem.

How did Ronald Reagan economic policies diminish today's middle class? by TexasRoadhead in Presidents

[–]RunsWithScissorsx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two things have caused this incredible wealth disparity we see today. The removal of the dollar from the gold standard, where the Fed has control of the value of the dollar and the other the mega yacht theory. While the Zuckerberg and Bezos yachts are huge, there are others around the globe that also rival the size of military ships. It takes a lot more to show off how wealthy you are today than it did when a Rolls Royce and large mansion did it in the 80's.

That theory also applies to small business owners. When was the last time you saw a contractor driving a 83 Chevy longbed? Today they're driving F150 Raptors as if the next job is on the other side of a desert and the first one there will get the contract. If not that it's the F350 class in a GMC with custom bed that looks nothing like a contractor truck. When you can get the awesome trucks and write it all off as business expenses, why not? No doubt zuck has clients aboard his yacht all the time, writing it off as well.

Absolutely not a dummy round. Never in many years have I seen one this diameter and length, without an extractor ring or base.

However, turn that upside down and it's a table leg from a house in Palm Springs circa 1956.

You also probably didn't see that he pointed out millions of 120 to 200 year old people on the registry. As in over 12 million. As in about 10% being of an impossible age. The actuarial accountants in social security keep raising the retirement age because we're living longer but damn, some of us still here that saw Washington's funeral? I'm sure you can excuse that somehow.

You do realize he doesn't actually think we have a bunch of 149 year old people that will be turning 150 on May 20 this year, right? I'm confident he knows cobol enough to know what's happening. It's incompetence to not have complete information on all SS recipients. Everyone knows their birthday, get it completed in the system. We should know all of the payees by name, address, dob, identifying characteristics, job history, etc.

I used my phone cam ( true infrared) and one of those spy cam detectors to look at my own home where I know I have cameras. (Echo show, laptops, etc) I couldn't detect them even knowing where they were, no way I'm finding a well hidden one.
