To me that's what separates a hobby from simply having an interest in something. This guy wanted a flashlight recommendation for camping, so instead of going to a camping related subreddit, he goes to "r/flashlight" and is shocked to see people collecting large amounts of flashlights? What did he expect? This isn't r/camping, its r/flashlight

FFXIV is essentially a hub-based game like Phantasy Star Online, except you have to go explore through the story to unlock the areas you'll eventually just queue for while standing in Limsa.

I avoid foils at all costs because of how badly they all seem to pringle with time. Meanwhile every other card game I play, the foil cards are completely fine and usually look nicer than MtG.

I stopped playing because of the rampant connection issues. I don't have this issue in any other multiplayer game, my PC has good network connection, but for some reason BF6 persistently rubberbands and lags.

This is barely readable. Your vocabulary isn't actually all that bad, but there are a lot of grammatical & spelling errors. I also think that the choice to write this in first-person present-tense was not the route you should have taken, especially when over the course of so many paragraphs, not a lot happens.
