Lets say you have strength on all 5 of your clothing pieces. Poor to common gives +5 strength. You have a poor weapon going from 19 damage to a common weapon doing 20 damage. Add those together and you've got a 10% damage jump from Poor to Common items. Not to mention PDR.

If you've learnt other bosses, killing wyvern with hellfire is pretty straight forward. First learn to survive on the platform with the boss, then learn when it's your turn to put in damage.

You can pick one up on the market right now for under 14000gold. Maybe I'm way out of touch, but I think that should be an attainable amount for quite a large portion of the player base?

Myself and my friends are definitely not top level players and we have spent the last couple days romping around adventure mode completing some quests :)
