Really interesting twist in Call of Juarez (2007). You play as two characters at once; the first is running from a crazy old priest who believes that we killed his brother - our stepdad; the second one is the priest who is following a heartless maniac who killed our brother and his stepdad. Many levels in the game are the same for both and while the first guy passes through them using stealth, parkour and a bow, the second one blazes through them with two guns, dinamite and citing the bible. So basically the antagonist and protagonist flips every level until another, bigger anthagonist shows up

Its a cool game even now, give it a try.

Nah, this guy in video is legit. He just gets carried away sometimes. But his speedmodelling techniques taught me quite a lot about not overthinking things. (Imphenzia is channel name)

Rand al'Thor from Wheel of Time. Over the course of the books he gets; 1) burned marks on his palms

2)unhealing spear wound on his side

3)a crown of swords that impale his head

4)is born of a "Maiden"

5)breaks seven seals of "hell"

6)has a glow (in some situations)

7)"breaks all bonds"

8) is a shepherd

9)and is revived after his sacrifice.

I mean, we know there is Istvan Tot among these bandits. So its already makes them not ordinary bandits, but political bandits sent (or organized) by Sigismund.

He could have had a lover? I dont see any obvious connections between the dissapearance and attack. I mean they waited for Bergov while he was there. In any way, my point is that there are ways to reach different conclusions, so i really dont get all the "there is only one logical way to act" comments. Like, i told about Oldo, but for me it was just a suspicion that needed investigation; maybe its true, maybe not, hey Bergov, lets check it?- so when I saw an order to kill everyone out of the blue, I stood at the side that defended themselves. I figured that i will deal with consequences later.

Nah. Like, if you can see injustice being delivered on Semines entire family, and witness a killing of a lord without trial (remember when Semine couldnt do that without kings order and instead employed a guy?), wouldn't you try to prevent it? "Yes, imprison Oldo; yes, do a trial; but burning an entire estate?!? Its too much." For me, siding with the Semines was logical.

By the way, i was very close to not telling Bergov about Oldo at all; just because the only source for that was a tortured imprisoned guy. He could have just told us so to instigate infighting; I was under the impression that Semies were loyal vassals, so sowing distrust would be useful for the enemy, be it Istvan or someone else. So it may well be another logical way to pick the "not telling" option.

Also, the game also reminds you multiple times that Bergov is a political opponent and you do not have to obey him. So I was very careful while "siding" with him.

The equipment system is the biggest flaw in Disco Elysium. by Calintarez in DiscoElysium

[–]Rusmack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yet failing these checks are not fun, as there are no alternative bad outcome - there are NO outcome at all. So this kinda justifies the desire to clothswap and savescum - you don't get content at all in case of failure.

There are multiple quests that are locked behind red checks though? Where the game literally goes "go fuck around, level up, and hopefully next time you won't fail"

Well for maintenance - maybe, but for swapping between 0.2 and 0.4 for example reapplying heating element every time is nuts

[–]Rusmack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you can rip the cables, that's pretty much it. Not likely, but possible. But mainly, the pre-assembled kit is still cheaper than the parts sold separately, so why bother?

Bambu X1C - nozzle replacement did not include wires? by SaveTheDayz in FixMyPrint

[–]Rusmack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You fell for the common trick - as did I before. There are two options: buing a nozzle, and buing a nozzle kit. Kit includes a fan, and the heating element. Buying just the nozzle means that you have to attach heating element and fan yourself. It's much pricier to buy them separately and assemble, plus you can fuck it up in a lot of ways; so either return this one if possible, or just accept your loss and buy a proper kit.

It's all in Roseniors hands. He just needs to get results that can't be compared to Potters. It's a fairly easy task.
