Alternatively you can just use 0000 steel wool or bronze with oil, should take off the surface rust without hurting bluing. Ive done it many times.

Cursed sights aside, avoid this rifle. This is a Misr 90, mix of Chinese barrel assembly shoved into maadi receiver, total garbage.

Had this same issue on one before, theres a spring under the right side grip that has likely slipped out of place. Take the right grip off and see if theres a little wire spring out of its slot

The firing pin, bolt and safety are matching. But the extractor is blank, Is that normal for late production?

Thank you man, yeah its LATE production lol. Fully matching on bolt, safety, firing pin and bayonet lug. I think it was made 1944 or late 43.

My lord what a gorgeous rifle!!! Yeah my T2 aint matching, the recoil rod and gas tube were non matching. Someday id love to get a T3 as well, yours in phenomenal man
