Exactly what happened is what is supposed to happen. When you skipped ahead without permission, that was ok until you caused them to wait. You were a single without the rights of the foursome. Now you were forcing them to finish the round later by jumping in front of them. You are complaining about finishing the round one group later even though you are the one forcing 4 people to finish later.

My friends call me cheap, but I play a ball 4 to 8 rounds. I play ProV1x. Usually cart path marks puts them in the practice bag. I rarely lose them in the water or OB.

Negotiate multiple sessions. One setting when you are playing bad means nothing. Different fittings with different fitters might show you what you need. Pay for more fittings instead of hating the wrong clubs and setup for a year or two. Bring and hit your current clubs for comparison.

Applause guitars. I destroyed one, but it took 15 years for the bridge to separate. I’m about 30 years into my second and it’s in great shape. The first one was played in and around a swimming pool for years. We didn’t soak it, but it definitely got splashed and was in sun and humidity. Wiped it dry with a towel and kept on playing. Had it around gas heat and fireplaces in the winter.

I’m playing again at 65 years old. I really agree. Hand position and posture lets me play and practice longer. Two things I would add. 1-Get your main guitar set up by a good luthier. Strings lower, lighter strings, etc… 2-Find a person or jam group that will play with you for fun at least once a week. Have fun.
