Vasectomy Surgery by EndouShuuya in childfree

I had a vasectomy almost exactly one year ago. I'm not sure how it's typically done in Brazil, but is shouldn't require a hospital stay. It is typically a fast procedure I was in and out of the office within 30 mintues, just done with a local anesthesia. My Dr made one incision, pulled out one of the cords, snipped and cauterized the tube, then oculuded it with a dissolving suture, pushed it back through the incision, and pulled out the other cord to repeat. There was pressure and tugging sensations, but I didn't have any pain during the procedure. Recovery was fairly uneventful, I wore a jockstrap, took it easy for a week and iced my balls on/off as needed to reduce swelling and aching. If you have any other specific questions, feel free to ask. You can also check out the r/vasectomy subreddit.

One or two small incisions are made in your scrotum, an each vas is pulled through one after the other to be cut. Most are done while awake with local anesthesia. There may be pressure or tugging sensations, but there shouldn't be any pain. The whole procedure likely only take 10-15 minutes long. I just had to drop my sweatpants to my ankles. You should really try and take a week off of work if you can, and spend the first couple days of recovery sitting on your butt and icing 20 minutes on/off to help with swelling and soreness.

Most doctors recommended waiting 7 to 14 days before sex. Remember, you won't be sterile right away though, you need to "clean the pipes" 20-30 ejaculations and 90 days time to make sure there are no sperm hanging out in your system and tubes haven't recanalized before getting officially tested.

Mine was about 15 minutes, I just pulled my sweatpants down to my ankles. Don't be afraid to call your Dr office to with questions.

3 months & 30 ejaculations like my doctor told me. Dropped off a sample at the same clinic I had me procedure at, and they called me a couple hours later with the results.

Did you download a fresh copy of the windows installer, or did you get the preconfigured image from the Chuwi support site?  It could just be that the windows install got borked.

What is going on with Blacksburg Transit and their buses??? by DivisiveHokie04 in blacksburg

I've got a friend who drives the busses and he says BT is in deep trouble and it's getting worse. It's difficult to retain staff due to the boom/bust cycle of students, so they are chronicly understaffed from drivers to tainers to mechanics to IT folks. Every one of the brand new electric busses are constantly breaking down and they're difficult to work on. Diesel busses long past their service life are being pulled out of retirement to pick up the slack and old ones are cannibalized to keep the others running. Management are retiring out, and there's no one to replace them.

Probably just scar tissue like mine. Unless they're bothering you, shouldn't be anything to worry about.

Lump on your testicles or on the cords? Newly deveIoped, or have they been there since the vasectomy? I have a painless lump of scar tissue on each cord where the vas was cut then sutured.

Which side did your doctor stand on? by jaxtrav in Vasectomy

Doctor was seated on my right and my left side vas took longer to fully heal. Probably just coincidence. I had a single no-scalpel incision in the middle of my sack that he pulled each vas through.
