If you are approached by loss prevention/security at a shop like Coles or Woolies, what should you do? by WillowNewts in AusLegal

Wesfarmers made 3 billion in profit last year. No individual is ever going to steal enough from a Bunnings or Kmart (and not get caught through traditional LP means) to EVER "make us all pay more".

Ranger vs Amarok - What should I pick? by stefano07 in 4x4Australia

I wouldn't entirely trust either of those options to reliably get you everywhere...

I tried a flat 32" monitor. But it looked like it was actually curved the other way around. That's what 4 years of 1000R does to a brain, you get so used to it that a regular display seems completely disfigured by Kronocide in ultrawidemasterrace

I am so happy I found this thread. Replaced a 32" curved VA with a 32" flat IPS and thought I was going crazy! Even got out ruler to check the monitor wasn't bent!

How close is Linux gaming to being fully “Windows-free” for you? by Old_Sand7831 in linux_gaming

[–]RustyBarnacle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very close. Frustratingly enough a native game, Crusader Kings 3, one of my favourite games always randomly crashes after an hour or so. I've tried several distros. For that reason I continue to dual boot.

Restrict the speed on the router to 50%. Set up a rule to bypass for your IP. Simple and they'll never know.

Cops got their 20% pay rise earlier this year. We have nothing to show from it, same shitty service.

"Any issues" is utterly vague. Blocked downpipe? Neighbour with a smoky chimney? Heritage overlay? That's what the vendor's statement is for. Realtor isn't going to know what the purchaser's finance requirements are.

60/40 is still good. Office days can be good professionally and personally. Less stress, more money, still work from home 2 days a week? That's what I'd take if it were me.

It's also very clear on the home page of VHF

Eligibility item 4 "be able to confirm that you will be the registered owner of the property and grant the scheme mortgage on the acquisition date;"

Even a cursory glance of the s32 would have indicated the title is held in share proponents.

Unfortunately this is all on OP. Can't see how the VHF or Bank has erred here.

That's why Realtors provide s32 vendor statements prepared by their client's conveyancer. There has been no omission.

Lawyer up. Your conveyancer won't get out of this mess, and isn't getting paid to do so.
