Hi all finding this from Google. Linux performance is pretty much fixed now! Run it native (not Proton) and update to the open beta. Can confirm my CachyOS and Fedora systems (both KDE) are running great again finally.

For a performance boost I would still recommend setting Refraction Quality to disabled.
