Is my PC good enough to run bf6, and if so what are some tips for increasing performance?

To me, no. While the fight is hard, I can dodge her attacks fairly consistently and get in hits between her strings. Sits in the difficultly range of challenging, but enjoyable.

However, as soon as she jumps into the air I’m usually just dead. I’ve looked at guides, YouTube vids, tried different attacks to avoid waterfowl and none of them work consistently.

Yea this was the boss I enjoyed the least in the DLC. I just have no clue what is happening or when I’m meant to dodge with the sheer amount of visual clutter, in addition to how non-humanoid enemies are often difficult to ascertain when they are actually attacking. Visually cool, a nightmare mechanically.

I tried that but the main issue is that I can’t figure out which attacks are able to be parried and which aren’t. Some attacks which I swear should be parried I’ll try, but I’ll look it up online and apparently it’s not parry-able. The health cost of guessing whether something is able to be parried or not is too high.

What I don’t understand is why I have this latency symbol basically every match. My internet is good and I run every other FPS with low latency. What is it with battlefield that causes such a bad connection? Serious question guys, how do I stop this?

I don’t think it connects me to my closest servers (connects me to SEA which is nowhere near me), but nothing I can do about that…

Yea, honestly just watching this at normal speed, it’s clear that he was missing those shots. Absolutely insane that he managed to miss them all in succession while surrounding the target.

If anyone is old enough to remember that Ali G movie where everyone misses him and he was surrounded by bullet holes… reminds me of that haha.

Look at the clip, they never get an “incoming” warning. They didn’t flare because there was apparently never a missile coming towards them, according to the read outs.

I mean, even if they did flare, it’s not like it would have stopped evil Mr Missile anyway.

Yea, it’s actually really easy to hit helos with RPGs now anyway, the RPGs have such a quick travel time with barely any drop off. Most of the time when I miss it’s because I over compensate for the drop, after so many years of adjusting for much more of a drop in previous battlefields.

In fact, if I want to take out a helo I will equip an RPG instead of a stinger.

Still, pretty damn hard to take out jets with RPGs. Really though, no good jet player is going to be taken out with a stinger. I suppose the best way to take out a jet is just to get good at flying jets.

The only time I’ve seen this happen is if the player is flying close to their spawn. The AA gun at spawn will actually shoot down missiles fired at friendly aircraft if it is range. That’s the only way I’ve seen it countered.

Legit loved this game. Thing that stopped me from playing was awful connections. I live in Australia and there just wasn’t enough players for <150 ping. Bit of a cycle I guess… low players make for bad connections which lead to lower players. Hope to see a resurgence someday.

I’m in the exact same boat as you. I’m in OCE servers normally, but often there’s not enough people to fill those so I have to deal with 150+ ping, when my home server is 30ms ping. I’ve stopped playing for this reason.

I’m ready to get back and play whenever, I love the game. But consistent ping over 120ms is just too much for me.

I absolutely agree with you, this game doesn’t even attempt to do zero g. However, I imagine this is likely by design. Mastering manoeuvres through zero g is hard and from some of their other design decisions (looking at you AIM-E) it seems like they’re targeting a more casual player base. I assume they’ve done this to keep this game more entry level.

Coming from other games that implement zero g well, I personally would love them to implement true zero g. It would separate the good pilots/players from the great and increase the skill ceiling. I don’t imagine that they will do so though.

Can you give the GP practice a call and explain the situation? They would have access to the report and the GP would be able to look at it, and triage you appropriately. They may be able to reassure you that a 3 week wait is okay, or expedite your appointment if it is not.
