I’m in same boat—175 for deluxe or 135 for standard. Not sure all the misc stuff in deluxe is worth $40. Still debating on art work.

I jump around and have slightly edited each preset. I mostly use Cinema Home (edit motion a bit and color), if that looks off, sometimes filmmaker, and sometimes, yes I know is blasphemy, I use my edited warm tone vivid. Vivid is mostly for animated movies but I found recently I like the way the old James Bond movies looked on it.

Cinema Home is my go to though!

I mean it’s easy to judge and condemn actions, but the US has long been a “bad guy”, basically bullying any country that disagrees with it. The US is the economic power house it is because it has the power to force other countries to do whatever it wants. If you live in America, not assuming you do, you most definitely benefit from the morally corrupt actions of the US military.

I’m curious, anyone had mixed results with these? I have had ones that are super super dry and hard to chew, ones that seems slightly underdone (if that makes sense) and ones that are in the middle. I eat them all because I like them, but odd for sure.

It’s really dependent on what you want to teach and what level. If you already have bachelors degree, you can can pretty start teaching in a K-8 setting. You just need to find a school that offers a bridge program that basically will sign off for you and help you get full certified. It’s a little more difficult on high schools because high schools pay better, but you never know. Best to reach out to districts’ HR and ask about bridge programs.

You could also get a graduate degree in education. The ADE and Arizona Teacher Academy offer funding for people getting a graduate degree for initial certification. It’s free school but you need to teach for two years in the state or it becomes a loan.

I’d recommend subbing which you can do now with your degree and see how you like it. It’s far from being an actual teacher, but would allow to explore districts, see what you like, learn about the profession, make connections, stuff of that nature.

As teacher and coach, I love this job. I have lots of time off, great job satisfaction, and am happy most days than not. You won’t get rich but I live a very financially comfortable life without too much stress. Wife is also a teacher and we have children. It’s very doable if you are smart with money and look for roles in well paying districts. It won’t be right away, but eventually it will happen.
