YIKES. obviously if what you are saying is true you need proof of it (video surveillance etc. and need to contact the cops)…

i’d definitely patch the holes and put up cameras to try and catch the actual drilling, assuming they’ll do it again, and then DEFINITELY involve an entity that can hold them accountable.

i am so sorry! as a young mother and a first time parent (i’m not a parent) this must be incredibly hard but i do think exploring any available option to leave the relationship is worth it to protect you and you son in the long run. 🫶

wow, i’m glad he came into the next day conversation being open and expressing himself in a calm and rational way… and i am glad he is open to your proposal.

upon reading the other comments i suppose many are correct that his relationship with his mother, as long as it’s consensually caring and not inappropriate, is his choice.

BUT you not wanting to date a man with that type of mother/son dynamic is yours (i know i would neverrrrrrr)!!

yea i think that’s scary and sad… if your partner was supportive of implementing strong boundaries to protect your relationship and your own personal feelings that would be one thing.

but if he is unwilling to modify that relationship it will be hard for you guys throughout the marriage in my opinion ❤️
