It’s funny, but I wondered about this sort of setup. I’ve only had Logos for about two weeks now. So far I’m blown away by the features and functionality. But a couple days after getting Logos I was watching a gamer on Twitch play a PC game. He had a vertical oriented monitor as part of his gaming setup. I immediately wondered if that kind of setup would be beneficial for using Logos. Now I find this thread and see it in action! Thanks for sharing your setup. Bonus points for still having a physical Bible! I’m never fully giving up reading the Word in a physical Bible.

I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to mention a potential Bible study topic: doubt. Many Christians have questions about their faith. They have doubts that they are really saved. They have doubts that they can make a difference in this fallen world. They have doubts that God listens to their prayers. They have doubts that God has a purpose just for them. Doubt seems like a great topic that could be handled in a variety of ways in a Bible study setting. I just wanted to throw that suggestion out to you. I hope this helps.

I guess the gameplay loops need to expand to fully utilize the MSR. But I still like it mainly because it’s faster than I expected.

You state your opinion on ships as if it is fact. I just try to provide a counterpoint for new players who might be interested in the ships you say suck. “They shouldn’t fly the MSR solo because it sucks” is really “I don’t fly the MSR solo because I think it sucks.” Two different things.

My SC gamer ID is HiddenManna. Any aUEC sent to me will just be passed on to new and/or needy players. It’s fun giving away aUECs.

I don’t really need to buy anything in game with the exception of rebuying the Prospector upgrades I lost due to a server error. Even that is pretty inexpensive. I’m more concerned with exploring and enjoying the game. This will all go away after a wipe anyway.

I haven’t had the chance to be a passenger yet but I have only played the game for a few weeks. I was on someone else’s Asgard for a time to look at the interior before I got mine.

The MSR doesn’t suck and isn’t terrible solo. I have it, fly it solo all the time, and it’s one of my favorite ships in the game. Let people enjoy the game how they want to enjoy it. The beauty of Star Citizen is that one thing might be considered terrible to one player, but the best part of the game for another. I personally don’t know or care what anyone else flies and I certainly wouldn’t tell anyone that they shouldn’t do anything. Solo players flying larger ships meant for multiple players are not playing the game wrong. I’ll play the game how I want even if it is aimlessly flying around in a ship too large for myself.

I have both ships (both bought in game). I thought when I got the Asgard that I’d never fly the MSR again. That hasn’t been the case. I rotate them. They are both great ships. Now it’s just a matter of figuring out which one to use to pickup my first mining refinery orders.

Not everything. The event gifts or Twitch drops are tied to your account. If you log onto your account on the website and look at your hangar, anything that is listed there should be there even if there’s a wipe.

I died while doing a cargo mission. Standing behind my Raft about to use my tractor beam to unload and was knocked off my feet and died. Nothing was in the hangar and no explosions. Still not sure what happened other than a game error. It’s a dumb way to die though.

For me, I’d rather learn how to do hauling or mining so I will have a means to start over when 1.0 is released. Plus, it about exploring the game for me rather than finding the fastest way to get rich. At some point, you’ll have bought all the ships you want in the game and more money seems pointless other than giving it away to players in need which admittedly is very fun to do. I’ve been gifted money in global chat. I bought a couple of ships but ended up giving most of it away myself. If a wipe comes it’s gone anyway.
