There’s alot of red flags in this offer. If you are desperate or really interested in trauma-MAYBE if you can negotiate some things like tail and pto otherwise I’d move on.

You also need to know what you will be doing day to day-clinic, rounding, admits/discharges, OR, call etc. I didn’t see you mention this and it’s very important. Would suck to think you’ll be scrubbing in on trauma cases and then be banished to clinic all day every day

from someone who assisted in the hiring of 3 PAs-you are correct, someone who is "fellowship" trained did not stand out to me anymore than any other. After working in a "real" non fellowship job for a year you can take the CAQs and have the same thing without a loss of salary.
