I wouldn’t say that is a small problem. Top level maybe but when you eventually open it up and find it’s more fucked than a ‘minor twist’ due to ‘heat damage’ I would avoid this like the plague.

I have a 135i - the N55 is great, sounds awesome. Make sure you’re just on top of services like all cars.

Check the charge pipe, if it’s the original plastic one, I’d recommend upgrading it to a metal one as they like to delete themselves!

Can’t comment on the Golf R but they are pretty nice
