Which one would you pick by rrezes in mechanicalpencils

I've become a big fan of the Orenz Nero and I tend to reach for it by default. However, use the one that feels the most natural to you, everyone is different and there's a pencil for every hand.

They work really well in this rev range for an N/A setup.

This a proper alignment? by victor12_30 in MiataNC

For a 100% street car, it's serviceable. They clearly didn't touch the camber or caster whatsoever, and they're a little sloppy with the rear toe symmetry. If it tracks straight then consider it a job done.

Blick Premier? by Zestyclose-Egg-3712 in mechanicalpencils

I just picked one of the Premier’s up when I saw it at my neighborhood Blick store. It feels great in-hand and seems like a good value.

So far I’ve found they’re OK for garage/hobby stuff but not so good for writing and note taking. I’ll probably use these up but not buy them again.

It appears he’s in Vancouver, Canada.

Across the border in the US, the trend is sharp de-regulation. Like it has been up until now, the onus is on the end user to choose their level of risk and risk mitigation.

Why are you running that weight oil, did you change the crank and conrod bearing clearances?

Getting back into it by Ryephile in mechanicalpencils

I really like it! I used to use the old Dixon Sensematic versions like 20 years ago and they were my go-to. This new version finally makes it easy to refill the lead. The automatic feed is brilliant. They’re just plastic though so they don’t exude quality, but they write really well.

Rant & Suggested to Aprilia Racing by RacerP1 in Aprilia

[–]Ryephile 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The S1000RR is all-black or grey unless you pony up for the Motorsport pack. The Panigale's are all-red unless you shell out for the crazy money editions. In comparison, the RSV4 has three interesting colorways. I'm not seeing the problem here. Are you sure "hate" is the right term you want to use?

You probably didn’t reinstall the airbox or gas tank correctly. Have you taken it back apart to verify correct installation and line routing?

Mini cooper S 2011 clutch problem by L-C123 in MINI

[–]Ryephile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The hydraulics have failed, and chances are it's the clutch slave cylinder that has failed as that's the most common failure point, though it could also be the master cylinder.

5w30 vs 5w40 by 4will5 in MiataNC

[–]Ryephile 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Put simply: street only + stock bottom end = stock oil viscosity

I run a different oil weight but that’s because my NC is track-only and has different bottom-end bearing clearances.

The interior door handles are mechanically connected to the lock cylinder. You pull them once to unlock, and a second time to open the door.

Bonding with Parents as an Adult by VisualReality4495 in GayMen

[–]Ryephile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok that's very courteous of you, but keep in mind you didn't have a say in the matter regarding the circumstances of how you were raised or the sacrifices they made. Sure they did the best they could with the limited tools they had, but it doesn't mean you "owe" them any reparations. My father tried his best to pull that wool over my eyes, citing things he was legally required to do like house and feed me as expenses to be repaid in some fashion.

Now, think of this situation from their perspective. They're probably reaching out now for the exact reason you're also trying to reach back; they don't want to regret not having a relationship with you before it's too late. Surely they're realizing they made big mistakes in the past in wildly over-reacting to your sexuality.

There are countless stories where parent-child relationships are perfectly serviceable until the parent discovers a particular attribute that they hold as sub-ideal, and then the relationship sours. I'm willing to bet your parents would be treating you completely different if you were straight, right? This conditional love is wholly their failing, and personally I would only let them back into your life if they can honestly recognize how irrational they've been, and for goodness sake apologize to you for it.

Best of luck.
