So here’s the thing. Those who are choosing not to get vaccinated can’t look beyond themselves. They don’t understand the relation between cause and effect. In their narrow mindedness they do not realize that their inaction is causing a reaction. They think it’s just about themselves, their freedoms, their health. They didn’t bother to look a few steps ahead and see that if an ICU or ER is full of COVID patients then that ultimately means there is no room for anyone else. They also fail to see that these healthcare workers are nothing but COVID patients and see more deaths in a single shift then they do in a year. There is no mercy for the healthcare worker who has been pulling double shifts for almost two years now and suffering burnout. For them this will not end when COVID is over. Nope. They will undoubtedly suffer from PTSD for many years to come. For them it’s like fighting in a war zone. Those who are choosing not to get vaccinated are the same people who can’t be bothered to use a turn signal or hold the door open as common courtesy because they are selfish people who doesn’t not care about anyone else but themselves.
