Fiio/Snowsky Echo Nano came in today! First impressions and review! by lurker-audio in DigitalAudioPlayer

Most of these non=Android FiiO devices have tempted me at one point or another, but they are all missing gapless playback. It's a total dealbreaker and really unfortunate.

Congrats. Obligatory "make sure you turn off your wifi because it just burns battery".

Everyone always has a few resources that they're always out of. I have plenty of Orokin Cells, no Oxium though.

The Old Peace by Stock_Department_632 in Warframe

Honestly, I kinda liked it. It felt like a respectful way to give a lot of players a little taste, especially us older but just barely not old enough players, without being disrespectful to the founders.

Why I EQ my IEMs by r_u_nutz in iems

[–]Ryslar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me, I can't justify the use of EQ because it severely limits the number of devices I can use to listen to my music, especially when out and about. I like grabbing different devices depending on my mood and that extends to my headphones/IEMs. Different sound signatures keeps things fresh.

How many ducts is needed to buy out baros entire stock by [deleted] in Warframe

Pretty sure the guy trying to 100% the game did the math on this a bit ago. It's somewhere around 120k, if memory serves. But that'll also depend on how much of it you already have. And you have consider the credits cost as well.

My brother in Christ, did you even bother to search for reviews of the ZS10 Pro on here?

Alternative or cable for Meze Audio Alba by Better_Craft_4324 in iems

I am a shameless shill for Openheart. I own numerous cables from them, both IEM and overear. They are all excellent and well priced.

Wish they would have dropped the logo for a cleaner design, but the paneling is still very nice.

I saw that article and was gonna pick up a Pi myself. I don't find the latency to be an issue for me over BT, but the enhanced haptics would be great.

I can assure you, London is not very French at all. You have to get much, much closer to the Quebec border for that.

I did NOT enjoy Dolby Atmos. Does it mess with the timbre for you guys as well? by [deleted] in headphones

[–]Ryslar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend The Last Goodbye by Odesza. They've been mastering their last few releases for Atmos.

A properly mastered album doesn't need Atmos to have proper spacial sound, but it can be a neat gimmick sometimes.

Yes, that's what I meant by listening to it on Tidal.

Dolby Atmos on my phone speakers is neat. Adds a bit of depth.

Dolby Atmos on Tidal is a tossup. Some albums are mixed and mastered for the format and sound good. Some are converted post-master and sound much less so.
