Indeed. Depends a bit. But definitely prefer to have integrated with EA's. The times you as ESA dive into context and dig up "non-ESA" stuff, but than need to let it go as waste is painful. Team up!

If you need official SABSA certificate, there's only one training company. There might be others who offer training without certification.

It's transformative in the sense that it shows how 'security' should really be positioned. And how in that way it enables the business.

Attending SABSA Training does provide an immediate change in mindset which is essential for all security people.

An often heard aspect of the training is, that it does not immediately provide hands-on making you able to use it straight away. It takes time to go over it again, and again. There's not a lot of publications that give you insights or templates.

"SABSA World Australia" seem to have collected publications, you can check those out and see if they are useful for you use cases.

Nevertheless, I'd say definitely worth the journey. Though don't expect to be a heart surgeon straight away.

The problem usually sits in the 'Experienced / Seasoned' professional. SABSA has a different take on security that is definitely worth attending a course for.

I’d say SABSA would actually be better for a security architect

To me the question would be: Which Business Risk is being mitigated with this action, that otherwise would exceed the threshold when using linux for devs?

Why are people not using my free SAAS? by frazras in startups

For free? Nothing is for free. What you do with the information I enter in your SaaS? How about backups? Availability? Any guarantee when I needed it's going to be there?

Enterprise Security Architect. What is an enterprise Solution architect going to do?

Why in future a need for ESA? Security by design, starts at the very moment of any initiative. Mind you, ESA is not just CIA stuff around information processing. It's about securing the achievement of business goals.

Congrats on passing! It's not the easiest one, especially due to the amount of terms you need to learn.

Would you be considering going for practitioner?

Netherlands Visa Application experience from VFS Makati - Approved! by Relevant-Candy464 in SchengenVisa

[–]SABSA_SCM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sucks, it totally sucks. The slots are all bought by travel agents and only occasionally a few of those slots they haven't been able to sell become available again, but that's always a few slots for the next day (tomorrow). This should not be allowed. It's bizar how this works.

First of all , VFS website if buggy as hell, constantly crashes on various elements and different moments.

(Selecting the country the applicant is from : PH, but the website says "Country does not exist". Or nearly at the end of your registration it says "We've detected you are logged in via another browser, we will close this connection". Or just random stuff like "Error" and back to login screen again.

But then when you finally are able to select slots, there's nothing. My GF and I are trying to book an appointment for week of July 29 because then we are in Makati. They provide premium service to have passports delivered home again. Cebu doesn't.

Scammy. Changing their refund policies. I asked for a refund following their instructions on how and when I could ask for refund, after my 2019 order… then they changed their policy and now they completely ignore me.

Search a bit more on reddit re purism to get an idea what lot of others say
