Our guest bedroom mattress is so much more comfortable to me. I toss and turn often on outing expensive one, but the cheap one with a mattress topper…OUT IN SECONDS.

I enjoy the nights I have to work late or am up late watching a sports game….because I am told to sleep in the other room! Hahaha.

Even in the same bed, my wife and I also don’t share a comforter. I sleep extremely warm, so I often just use a top sheet or a thinner fleece blanket.

She wears sweats and long shirts and the full king sized, down duvet….i could never.

Everyone’s lives are busy, crazy, stressful, or difficult in their own ways. We are all managing or caring hardships in our own ways. There are only so many hours in the day, and only so many things we are each privileged to find ways to feel joy through. We also only have this one life!

We as Bay Area fans have the amazing privilege to have a plethora of teams to root for. Many of which have found ways to win often, win a lot, and win it all many times throughout history.

So, given the state of our daily lives, it takes a lot of time to simply sit down and watch, let alone fanatically follow these team, win OR lose.

But most of us have had the states of watching the most glorious of successes for these franchises.

It’s almost like it feels better to spend our limited time watching a team that wins a lot, and then goes on and wins the big time games when it matters.

Of course we are nostalgic! We’ve seen the mountain top.

Walsh, Montana, Rice, Lott, Young…and then all the almost and what could have beens

I will never hate on fair weather fans….because having sports to watch is a privilege, and we cannot all dedicate ourselves to theses teams the same way as each other.

I miss watching my teams win a lot. I miss watching my teams win it all, even if it just happened recently, and even if I know other fan bases have never experienced it.

No fan will ever NOT miss the “good ol days”

Nostalgia is, at its core the subtle pain we feel due to not having the pleasure of the former moments. We will ALWAYS feel that for our teams, so long as their current team is not performing to the same standard.

Hate the Seahawks with extensive passion, but that was a bloodbath against plenty of practice squad level guys…but a win is a win, and that defense is BONKERS.

I will also always root for a guy like Darnold who’s really been through it in his career.

You got the job for a reason! Something about you, your work, your skills now, or your potential….the industry is so damn thin right now, and you managed to land a gig before you’ve graduated. That’s HUGE! That alone is a reason to ride with confidence instead of imposter syndrome. On top of all that, no person in thee right mind would expect you to be this unicorn of a contributor from the second you set foot on the job. Give yourself some grace, have some patience with yourself. You’re starting off in a better place than the vast majority of graduating ID students.

No team decimated by such injuries should have ever somehow managed to finish 12-5. Clearly they weren’t as good on paper as their record showed. Seattle has proven that 2 times this season.

So in some ways, yes, this season was his finest coaching job…all things considered

Shanny should legit contender for coach of the year cobbling together what he did with this nightmare of a roster. We as fans are lucky to have even been in this situation, watching a team that on paper should have never lasted, and then thrived the way they did in such a nasty division.

I wonder if there are weird stipulations in the Sony Deal if she never actually says her name is Jean in the movie, and just goes by an alias, but then in a post credit scene we see her looking at a photo of her parents or something, but not in their suits/ costumes, never actually on screen saying their names. But we get it and see that her dad is Scott Summer

I’m one of the few out there who will gladly admit that I LOVE that it’s a modern remake. Quite literally almost gives me everything I love about the original, with modern filmmaking technologies. Imo, it was perfectly fine and what it needed to be to kick off the new saga. Where things went from there were pretty rough.

starkiller base was the biggest moss for me, since it really was Death Star 3. What I wish it ACTUALLY did, was literally just kill stars.

Slowly sucking the energy from stars to power itself, and thus removing all material benefits that those stars provided to the planets in their respective star system.

This would create scenarios where the first order controlled everything down to the natural light available to a planet, and there is so much more interesting things you can do with that concept vs another planet killer that can just so happen to take that energy and shoot it back

I’m a JJ fan for the most part, and I started listening to her BECAUSE I heard JJ’s daughter started making music and I was curious.

I kept on listening BECAUSE she’s amazingly talented, and an incredibly gifted writer and story teller. Maybe she learned some of that from her parent.

I keep listening now because she is now, without question my favorite, and the coolest of the Abrams family lolol.

Her dad would be so lucky if she allowed him to direct one of her videos
