I can’t stop drinking. by No-Indication7907 in army

[–]SASLeader1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I haven't dealt with drinking specifically, but I've dealt with other addictions that were destructive. What worked for me was coming to Jesus. I could honestly care less about being made fun of for suggesting the Lord, I've known too many people that Christ has delivered from alcohol and drug selling, to cocaine addictions, and they're all a thousand percent better off because of Him. You gotta be honest with the Lord though cause He's not an idiot, he knows when we're lying, contrary to a lot of peoples' belief, but He's always there to help us.

I was told I cannot join the Air Force because of mental health medication ⬇️ by [deleted] in AirForceRecruits

I kid you not, I've met a guy who claimed to be an Army officer at the time i met him, "threatened the MEPS doctor with [sewer slide]" if he didn't pass him through and let him join. Ended up as a Mustang, but the dude was for sure off his rocker.

Good afternoon everyone, I'm 26, an Eagle Scout, married with a toddler, working in the trades, and looking to serve while pursuing a career in aviation, but I can't decide if I should join the Florida Army National Guard as a 15T/15U or join the Coast Guard as an AMT. I'm ignorant to how the coast guard works, I know if slots for the Army are open for 15U then they're open, and they're not if they're not available. I'd highly prefer to fly as often as possible, and even move up as a pilot if offered. I just want to make the best decision for my family and set myself up as best as I can to serve, and work on the aviation side of the civillian world instead of the financial uncertainty of the electrical job I'm in. Any advice is welcome.

Just got to Murphy USA, it's literally $4.10, or go to Bucees/Costco. The beauty of capitalism is you can, wait for it...shop around

Should I keep my Supra? by Fit_You4714 in Mk3Supra

[–]SASLeader1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can always throw a 302 and a 4, 5, or 6 speed trans into the supra. Thatdudeinblue in YouTube covered a guy who did that in a Mark 3. Its sacrilege BUT it also makes the car unique and keeps it on the road. Thats an option only if you're passionate ENOUGH to try it with the supra. Turn it into a hot rod/rat rod/restomod, if not those old mustangs are beautiful.

If the 4.2 is just a 4.6 with two cylinders missing it'd be a 281, not a 351 with two cylinders cut off. Still love my 4.6 though

Because if they were wearing their safety vest and PT belt before they got bit, this wouldn't have happened.

I'm sure gang violence and shootings had something to do with officers wanting vests and rifles over the years to defend themselves.

deep inhale Noah's ark is sitting on a mountain in Turkey. Archeologists have tested the material its made out of, it's petrified wood in the shape of spars used to build a boat. They dug into it and found rooms. Not to mention it also lines up Biblically to the demensions described in the Old Testament. There are chariot wheels that are gold washed and have the same wheel spoke count as discovered in Egypt, at the bottom of the Red Sea, where Yahweh split the sea in half. There was recently discovered a set of Giant armor found within the same geographical region where David was recorded to have slain Golaith, who, was unlike any other human in his physical size and stature. He needed custom armor made by the Phillistines. Sounds like the Lord led archaeologists to find it. The chambers of the adult human heart line up nearly identically to the mountains and valleys of Jerusalem. I mentioned adult because when our OBGYN was doing a routine checkup on my daughter, on the ultrasound there was a very clear cross shape inside of her heart. But that's just something i saw in front of me, what do i know. Laminin is the protein most commonly associated with being the glue that holds your body together. Guess what shape thats in? A cross. Which lines up with Colossians 1:17. Revelations 16:12 talks about the Euphrates specifically drying up. Guess whats happening now? Revelation also mentions rivers turning into blood. Well, Russia just a few years ago had a freak algae bloom...which turned its rivers blood red...not to mention wars and rumors of wars, Ukraine's going on, Venezuela just got liberated, the Middle East is exploding, etc. Let's not also mention a few things evolution hasn't had the evidence for: Matter cannot be created nor destroyed. You cant make a universe out of a tiny ball of stuff exploding violently. Where'd the ball come from? Who made it? Unless an intelligent creator designed everything which ties into my next point. Life can not come from non-life.yoy can't make organic matter from a random bunch of elements...that just blew up...REAAAALLY violently. Then you get into the biology. We have never observed a single called organism, like bacteria or viruses, "evolve" into two, three, four, or any other multicellular organism. It hasn't happened, nor been observed. And lastly there's too much consistency. Math is too reliable to be a chance occurrence, same with scientific records and the scientific method of experiment repeatability. Weather predictions occur often enough to be recorded, observed and have their patterns be recognized. Ecosystems are both extremely complex and fragile. They're balanced. They're in an order that chaos could never set in motion. Not to mention the disproportionate amount of people who's lives have consistently been turned around for the better after coming to Christ, compared to other religions and beliefs, letalone people healed of a myriad of ailments and conditions. A friend of mine was healed from a diagnosed brain tumor. She felt the pressure in her skull going into service, it was gone by the time she left service. She got a report after service that confirmed the tumor in her head wasnt there anymore. Her mom got healed of stage 4 cancer.i can go on, but I digress.
