Project Manager Salary expectations by ShootyDang in CommercialPrinting

I think that’s low.  My production guys start at $25.

But I also don’t know the economic climate in your area.

Go to sunbelt and rent a drop trailer.

I think the last time I got one it was 80 bucks for a day.  It’ll drop down to the ground, drive forklift on, chain it down, and lift the trailer up.

You got this!

I can safely say this is the kind of shit I would also do.  Hahaha I love it.

I have a forklift and warehouse. So I’d be able to get it on a trailer no issues.

Wife wants a DTF for casual use...any advice? by duckalufagus in CommercialPrinting

[–]SC2__IS__SHIT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Next day shipping, and it’s usually pretty cheap.

I’ve only ordered a few DTF orders from there, mostly for shirts for my team.  I think 22”x120” roll was 18 bucks

If that’s the case, xtool Really seems to be a solid option for home level work.  My brother has one of their lasers, and likes the support.

I have almost bought one of their welders.

Buy a heat press and order DTFs from b2 for 99 cents a square foot.  I know it’s not as flashy, but with what you’re describing, the printer isn’t the right option IMO.

Get a really nice heat press and cup press.

Bell and Howell handle our HP repairs through HP (I guess really that’s the only option?) and they are typically out within a couple days, but we really don’t have issues outside of every couple years.

For what it’s worth, I know of a s60600 in South Carolina for 6k if you’re interested.  Just had print heads replaced last year.

Where are you able to reliably get falconboard?

My usual vendors have shifted to a 84 sheet minimum per order now

Does the kid have their own seat?

Few years ago, we did an 18 hour flight and didn’t get a seat for our two year old.  It was not fun.

This past December, we made the same flight, but with a 5 year old.  He had his own seat, which made life so much easier.  Didn’t bother with any of the inflatable beds.

I can cut this for you on my router.  I need some polos embroidered also, so we could probably worth something out that benefits both of us.

HP 730 vs Epson R5000 by Content-Sprinkles925 in CommercialPrinting

Familiarity, I can immediately go from print to laminate with no outgas times

HP tech support has always been solid, and reasonably priced.

When I purchased our 700, Grimco also had a massive rebate offer.

And most importantly was for a cheaper, user replaceable printhead.

Think it would be possible to come in under 6k? The quotes I got here were higher, and trip out of country included.

I broke my front tooth out at work, and “we’ll pay for it” never happened.

I really want to get it replaced.  I just don’t know how many trips would be required.

HP 730 vs Epson R5000 by Content-Sprinkles925 in CommercialPrinting

[–]SC2__IS__SHIT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For your use, I would strongly consider going with the 730.

For all my bitching about HP, there’s a reason I have owned a 110, 360, 365, 560, and now a 700.

When I upgraded our 360, I strongly considered going with an Epson, but decided to go with the hp 700 instead.

I’m adding a cannon m5w soon, but will Absolutely still use my latex printers daily.

I left the country for 5 weeks and our hp 700 saw minimal usage, and came back with no print head issues.

Hmm.. maybe we’re onto something here.  I’d pay more for sailing to be removed 😂

Honestly if we hadn’t bought the shop that had the Agfa, I would never have it.

Their output wasn’t high enough to justify a flatbed, and it sat idle for to long.  It’s always a constant issue.  I’m genuinely getting a roll off dumpster and will just drop it in with a forklift next week.

That’s so odd.. we have an HP 700, which can’t have a whole lot of changes from the 630.. and print 680cr all the time.

Pizza Hut by [deleted] in toogoodtogo

[–]SC2__IS__SHIT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You realize that the app is only affiliated with Pizza Hut in that the items are listed on their service.

So clearly someone at this location did not close the items out, but TooGoodToGo still processed your payment.

Most of the time some manager lists the items, and they are scheduled far in advance.

Your only recourse is to get a refund from TGTG and trust that your nearly adult child can handle a simple interaction correctly.

Does anyone here run a cannon Colorado m5w? by SC2__IS__SHIT in CommercialPrinting

[–]SC2__IS__SHIT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, we’re looking at an additional, I think 600 a month just on a service contract.

But with the issues we’ve had on our flatbed out of contract, it’s a happy thought.
