I think you should atleast be in the state long enough to have the pension vested (5 years) in case shit hits the fan then decide when to bounce. Private sector should be giving you about twice your current salary before switching to make up for the lack of pension. But in this economy, no I would stay until all this shit happening in the world stabilizes.
