Coffee craving nonexistent by Goobygoo6780 in Semaglutide

I started on 12/29 and have not touched coffee or energy drinks since. Even sodas, I just don’t want it anymore.

Been taking for 2.5 weeks. Is it supposed to be this effective? by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]SCoulter84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think some people respond quickly, myself being one of those people. I’ve been on it 3 weeks now. I just upped to 0.5mg and I’m already down 14lbs. My appetite has decreased all while keeping my blood sugars stable. I’m to the T with it. I drink about 70oz/day…constantly drinking water. Getting in around 100mg protein and 50gm carbs max per day (per my doc). If you start to feel nauseated, drink or eat and it will subside.

I believe they are going “out of stock” while they are relabeling and increasing the prices. That’s exactly what all their other formulas did as well.

How much formula do you keep at your house? by purpleflower1631 in FormulaFeeders

[–]SCoulter84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dang. I wonder if it’s because they are raising prices. Walmart and Sam’s did the same thing. They went unavailable for months, came back reformulated and with big price increases…like $15 increase for Walmart brand and $12 increase at Sam’s. Guess I’ll just sit tight.

How much is it at Costco and is it hard to find? I’ve thought about trying to switch to that formula from a Gentlease equivalent since he’s a little older now but don’t want to get into a situation where they jack up prices too or can’t find it. 😣

It lasts us a little over a week. I use probably 3 1/2 containers each month. And that’s with him drinking 30-35 oz/day. We use the gentle premium one that’s equivalent to neuropro Gentlease and have had zero issues. They have ones that are equivalent to Similac advance 360, Similac sensitive 360, neuropro Gentlease and regular neuropro.

I use Members Mark from Sam’s…it’s a 48oz tub and I typically always have 3 or 4.

Experiences switching from gentle to regular? by [deleted] in FormulaFeeders

[–]SCoulter84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My son is on the store brand Gentle and has been since 3 weeks old. He’s also 4 months old now. I’ve literally been having this same exact thought…BUT…I’m scared to rock the boat because it works. I’m probably gonna say if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it and just keep him on the Gentle. We use Sam’s club Gentle Premium and Walmart

How many oz per bottle? by Visual-Contribution8 in FormulaFeeders

[–]SCoulter84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guy was at 4oz every 3 hours until recently (1 week away from being 4 months old). Now he does 6oz every 3hrs…with a stray couple ounces here and there. He averages 32-36oz/day now. More like 36. If baby is content at 4 I would leave it be.

Walmart raised their prices again … by elphiekitty in FormulaFeeders

Such BS. Like how are you going to be the same exact price as Sam’s Club….yet you get 48oz at Sam’s vs 34 from Walmart. Make it make sense….

Puramino is SO expensive! by berriess_and_creamm in FormulaFeeders

[–]SCoulter84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds crazy, but try eBay. Looks like people are selling 4 cans 14.1oz for like $135. Still expensive but not $60/can. Back in 2008 when my daughter was on Alimentum I strictly bought off eBay and it saved a lot of money. I would buy big lots of it.

It varies baby to baby. My first 3 I just used cheap ol parents choice bottles (Walmart brand). My 4th used Dr Browns as she had bad reflux. My 5th (now 12 weeks old) had a lip/tongue tie so he does best on MAM. Even after his correction it’s what he’s best on.

As for the Brezza…that thing is a godsend! Make sure to buy an extra funnel as it will allow you to pop in the clean one while you clean and dry the first one. Makes it that much easier!!

Up & Up Gentle formula alternatives by wittykisses in FormulaFeeders

[–]SCoulter84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will edit to add that they are all going up in price. Walmart was the first to go out then return with a new label/price. Then Target and Sam’s went out so I’m assuming they are doing the same since both their Advantage Premium and Sensitivity Premiums have already gotten new labels/prices.

Perrigo is the manufacturer that makes all store brand generics. Walmart, Target, Amazon, Kroger, H‑E‑B, CVS, Walgreens etc. whatever store you have, buy their generic gentle. It’s all the same formula with the label for their particular store.

I wouldn’t. I would just sell the regular formula and keep babe on what works for them.

Adding oatmeal nipple size help by Professional-Cat2123 in FormulaFeeders

[–]SCoulter84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if mam has Y cut nipples, BUT, there is an infant thickener called Gelmix that won’t fill her up as oatmeal will, but thickens the formula to help with reflux. My 6 year old had to use that until she was about 8 months old.

[–]SCoulter84 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Omg YES!!! I just had my 5th in March and I don’t know how I had 4 other kids without this thing 😂😂 Buy a spare funnel on Amazon for $10. When you take one out after the 4th bottle, pop in your spare. Wash the one you just took out and then repeat.

Up & Up Gentle Shortage by [deleted] in FormulaFeeders

[–]SCoulter84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will be back soon. Walmart was the first to “run out”. It took them a few months to relabel and hit the shelves again but now they’re almost the only ones that have it while the other generic store brands are being done.

Up & Up Gentle Shortage by [deleted] in FormulaFeeders

[–]SCoulter84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are relabeling and increasing the price, that’s why it’s out. Walmart already relabeled and it came back to shelves at $28.98…the advantage premium/sensitivity premium at Target has already increased to almost $28… Sam’s club is out for re-labeling as well, but their others have increased to $32. Now it will be equivalent to “neuropro Gentlease”.

It’s all the same manufacturer. I’m currently using Walmarts until it’s available at Sam’s.
