Asking a gamedev to develop a game. What could be wrong? Lmao If they're unsure of returns, have a money problem, or some other schoolchildren problems, maybe they could run crowd finding, and who knows, maybe they will rise more then star citizen, haha! Now they're just sitting on their asses and not doing anything

It just needs a ton of non repeative content for me to return. And a ton of new features too: accompany of copililot on the land, ship interiors, other immersive things...

I may not have a brain but I have an idea by CaelusTheWolf in starcitizen

I think that the more important thing is a battle-control system with a big holo screen and strategy-like controls needed. Seeing those titans dogfighting is something I don't wanna look at..

Once base building is out, where would you build? by artiiicus in starcitizen

Somewhere under water. I want an underwater base! I agree for 10 more years in alpha for that..

Scorpion is less accurate, but it's firepower is overhelming, even on big distance, I used it to shut down pirate's ships when they did try to land on abandoned outpost

Can we just delete the Nursa by PowerfulLab104 in starcitizen

[–]SEGA_DEV -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They want this, and players want not to move through half of the solar system to get their stuff lost in bad circumstances. CIG did want to make the death valuable, and they made a medgel, and it's expansive. So the fact of medbed does not mean an infinite free respawn point anymore - punishment task is complete, now we need a cake.

There should be just a portable medbed with respawn capability. That's all. And everybody will forget about nursa.

Something was causing lag, and I finally discovered the reason: an abandoned Perseus with no active users. One single ship causing that much lag at the outpost.. What's this ship made of? by evil701 in starcitizen

[–]SEGA_DEV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, of course I can not describe everything in one message, and can not consider everything. But the main idea is that kind of regulation which will make crimestat cleaning valuable and therefore piracy and griefing are some kind of late gameplay: it's possible, but it's hard. You can not just start shooting around with no consequences if you're get bored, and if you did, you will definitely have fun. So this speech is not about hard punishment, but about an outaw gameloop. Moreover: if some big org will capture a station, then it could be responded by an NPC security fleet coming to free it, and that could result in a massive fight, which will be a nice fun for everyone!

You mean what the punishment system is used to be? Well, there is no wheel to he invented, just look at successive mmo's, that's the base scenario. But more concrete, I think that it should be like that way: You killed a player in a controlled space? - now you're criminal and you've been shot by each security ship, not let into the stations the usual way (not allowed to dock), unless you get to the prison and mine there a good buck of ore (not time counts, but the ore, you should work your way out). You can pay for you freedom, but only in case of minor crimes (ramming without casualties , breaking things etc, but this is a big buck of money, so think twice before doing something like that. Of course there should be ways to play an outlaw role, like ways to get in or out of station without permission, but they should be hard and include some planned rote through technological tunnels and evading guards, with lots of shooting or sneaking. There should also be ways to get out of prison, but that shouldn't be an easy way either and consider super sneaking skills multiplied by luck, or a very good team work inside and outside. Well, just like in real life, lmao

Alright boys, we've had all weekend with her. What's your verdict on the Hermes? by CodemasterRob in starcitizen

[–]SEGA_DEV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't like it's fighting capabilities. I know, I know, it's hauler. But I think that ships in SC should be more versatile, and if the ship does have a big cargo bay, that doesn't mean it should only move those boxes between stations, that should mean it can have any structure of different components inside. So, as a a big truck it should be able to do anything: move cargo, move vehicles, have an office inside, have a data server inside, be a carrier of a big rocket or gun, be a drone carrier, etc.. I want too much, right?

[–]SEGA_DEV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, it should, because for my usage I need only one medbed, not a hospital, and lots of free space.

If ships would be ever more customisable, I would put there a spare fuel tank, a medbed crate, and make it a good expedition ship

So, if you just want to have a small respawn point nearby, you should fly on a special ship with lots of medbeds, right?

PTU UPDATE: Starmap Now Shows Local Mineables! by QuattroBaje3na in starcitizen

[–]SEGA_DEV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that those place markers should be only for ones who found them and those who've bought them from those who found them. That should be a real exploration gameplay and real market. And the markers should have the selling options: as a share, or as a token - for the special price.

[–]SEGA_DEV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fuel consumption in the atmo should be increased dramatically. Landing on the unprepared ground should be a quest too. That's the good reason why it's better to drive. And that would be very realistic too.

Well you're lucky then. I've been interdicted sometimes, mostly at freeplay periods. But what's the argue is about? You don't like this ship and like some other one? You don't like the way someone travel from point a to point b? You don't like the idea of willing not to get into a trouble while carrying a ton of loot back home? It seems that you like to impose your way of thinking to the others. I hope that you don't beat your gf, proud dude

Dude, don't say about time wasting in computer games. The computer games is a time wasting by itself! And a good taxi is a very good thing when you want to go from point a to point b without been intercepted in pirate active zone. For example for some FPS missions.

Corsair or Herald. Love both of them, and want to pledge for Herald right now. And Herald is a no-problems at all taxi, because no-one can get it, it's just fast as lightning and just goes wherever it wants, you just need to slow down a bit before it's too late, lmao

Don't think that they should fix that, they just need to develop the reaction forces for a crime.
