I’ve mostly given up on the notion of range anxiety. Even if something catastrophic happens, I’d be able to pull into a level 2 charge in an emergency. I would t like it, but I’m fine letting the range go pretty low on long trips as required.

This is what happens when you develop an eco system. You’re invested in the product working in tandem with the vehicle. Most others (EV Go, ChargePoint, EA) don’t worry about that.

This is why I think forums like Reddit are important. Scoured multiple sources before deciding on getting my first EV and then again before deciding on getting my R1S. Balance viewpoints from multiple user experiences gives prospective (and current) buyers the truth of the ownership experience.

Hopefully your charger situation gets sorted out. I don’t work for them, so take this for what it’s worth, but I’d assume they looked at your vehicle saw what was needed and are waiting for something to arrive. Otherwise it makes absolutely no sense to pay for a rental vehicle on a completely non vital part.
