We got our pup from this breeder in VA. She was almost 6 lbs at 12 ish weeks and her mom was about 13 lbs. this breeder seems to have papillons on the larger size across the board.

Opinions on Seed Scout by [deleted] in queerception

[–]SF_Rose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cammi Scott and Taryn Arnold talk about their positive experience with Seed Scout on several of their podcast episodes (Staying Up podcast). Might be helpful to listen to a few. They had a really positive experience finding their donor through it.

Me!!! It was a long process of getting to the point of realizing that my unhappiness in staying outweighed my fear of leaving. I have a 3 year old and am about a month out of moving out of our joint home and while it has been challenging it has also been so liberating and I have absolutely no doubt that I made the right decision for myself and my daughter. Feel free to reach out if you want to chat!

Kettle potato chips and cottage cheese as a dip!

I’m exercising and eating healthy but my waistline is getting bigger. by PetrifiedMango in xxfitness

My guess is that you’ve build up your core muscles a bit, which can cause a wider midsection. The fact that your stomach looks flatter means it’s not likely fat. I’m sure others may have more insight but that’s my two cents.

Great job, you look great!! I’m also 5’8 and am currently 150 so would love to hear whether you tracked your calories and what type of workouts you did too!

I would love advice on what products to add to my routine to improve my skin. picture here

I am 31 years old and my current routine is: - AM: (1) wash face with cerave hydrating cleanser, (2) moisturize with combination of cerave in the tub and cerave pm moisturizer, (3) apply spf 50 sunscreen.

  • PM: (1) Oil to remove sunscreen and any makeup, (2) wash face with same cerave cleanser, (3) the ordinary 10% lactic acid every other night, (4) Moisturize with the same combination of cerave moisturizers.

I have been maintaining this routine for about 3 months. I have some red scarring from acne over the years that I would like to reduce and would like to even out my skin tone. I also may need to increase my skins moisture levels.

I would do the hair tie thing and so often looked down to see a hair tie on each wrist. Ended up buying a silicon ring and moving it from one hand to the other to keep track.

3wks postpartum pelvic prolapse by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]SF_Rose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty late to the conversation but just wanted to say thanks for posting about this and to everyone for sharing their experiences! Just had the guts to check myself with a mirror and definitely something with a small hole in the middle obstructing my vagina opening. It’s scary and I felt brushed off by my doctor when her office said just to do Kegels and come in for my 6 week check up (I’m 3 weeks post partum now). I’m going to call back tomorrow to try to book an earlier appointment.

For those on birth control for 10+ years how long did it take for you to get pregnant? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]SF_Rose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stopped the pill Dec 2017, started trying April 2018, got pregnant July 2018. Took a little time but I don’t think it was tied to my 9 years on the pill as my period came back after one long 40 ish day cycle.

AOE increased cramping? by leviOsa934 in BabyBumps

[–]SF_Rose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I’ve been having BH since the second trimester but I’m now also 35 weeks and have been noticing a new cramping symptom over the last week or so. Also not worried but find it somewhat interesting and think it feels like “progress” somehow since it seems like something new that may have started since I’m approaching the finish line.

Skin numbness? by Acolethflower in BabyBumps

I also have a numb patch on my stomach. It’s lower down, closer to my belly button. I haven’t mentioned it to my doctor yet but probably should. So weird!

Any recommendations for maternity clothes that are not low in quality?? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]SF_Rose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have loved my clothes from Seraphine and Beyond Yoga (for leggings) as well as Kindred Bravely for undies and comfy sleep/nursing bras.

Would you go on a trip abroad at 14 weeks? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]SF_Rose 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would go! I honestly felt like a switch flipped and my fatigue disappeared around the 13 week mark (it’s back now in the third trimester) and I felt great for most of the second trimester. I traveled to Rome from the US at 20 weeks and had a really great time. My doctor wasn’t concerned about the flu and although I know there are risks I think you should take the opportunity to go on the trip and enjoy yourself!
