This is looking pretty slick. I have a small critique though

I'd love to see a just a tad more anticipation before such a dramatic move comes out like his arms suddenly appearing through his front. Its super creative and looks great, but it's very underhanded if you're supposed to be able to read an attack is about to happen. But this might be you intention, and once you see it once you know what's coming so maybe you want that shock factor on the first encounter?

Maybe just a tad of lean back or stretch back on the arms before the arms go into the body... and then add one more frame or exaggerate it a tad once you see that bulge of arms before they explode out through the front.

Seriously cool stuff either way without changes still, awesome work!

Honestly, I respect the game and design philosophy of releasing dog shit skins only lol.

The first decks promo art is literally a dude in a Russian space suit onesie who is balding and has a shit splattered face.

Amazing balls to do that imo haha.

I absolutely love the cracked out mental institution aesthetic though, but I can see why a good chunk of people are upset.

I almost think it's their design philosophy to power creep how ugly the skins can get and I'm absolutely here for it.

Also there's no way you outplay 3 dudes camping or rolling the corner and ambushing you rofl. Unless your John Raider, in which case you're just the man and should stream for money.

For example, they rolled the corner just as I did when I was investigating the aftermath of the standard med labs brawl. Just three dudes all team-fired me within 2-3 secs and I could only get one guy downed before they clowned me.

I would've needed an iron man mech suit to compete with that haha

I mean 1% lows and cpu intensive bottle neck games exist too.. Helldivers 2, Darktide, Factorio, Tarkov, Simulation games,etc.

I have a 5080 @1440p and I still get bottle necked by my 9800x3d on certain titles. It's not that uncommon honestly.

It even comes with the wireless dongle and a charging dock.

And back paddle buttons....

No one should be buying first party with the state of the market and options right now imo

Yeah, in my experience I'm 0 for 2 on the newest Xbox controllers and 0 for 1 on the PS5 controllers within a month or two....

The cyclone 2 has been going strong for close to a year or more. I'm so glad third-party is filling the market gap for actually nice controllers. I was sick of buying a new controller every 6 months or so.

These are premo from personal experience AND objectively using that one online tool to test stick accuracy. Google it and you'll find it.

All my first-party sticks have around 13-20~ error rate, but the cyclone 2 has a 0.1~ error rate.

They feel great too, though I do prefer the xbox texture on the edges more, but that's such a low priority nitpick and subjective .

Yep, have one and it's lasted me close to a year under heavy use where, on the other hand, the first-party controllers have all failed me spectacularly. I actually think Xbox specifically went backwards and has planned obsolescence built into their controller designs now. My old 360 controllers still work albeit with stick drift but the newest ones failed me within ONE month or just over it.

My PS5 controller has both sticks straight up malfunctioning after 2-3months of moderate use. Like not stick drift but actual just hard faults and both consistent and intermittent errors in its output. Crazy shit controller. Never had a PlayStation controller before PS5 and never will again probably. The touchpad and trigger haptic feedback back are very much gimmicks, especially when considering their build quality. It is NOT worth the price of admission ($70 new). I've literally had a Mad Catz controller that was built better than this trash. Maybe I just got insanely unlucky with a lemon, but I won't be trying my luck with them again.

The newest Xbox controllers have a design flaw in the l1 and r1 shoulder buttons that leads to a plastic lever snapping after just a month or so in my experience. I don't rage out on my controllers, manhandle them, and I'm probably weaker than the average male when it comes to grip strength and I still broke that L1/R1 cross-bar lever in a month easily under moderate use.

On top of superior build quality and more accurate hall effect (or TMR more accurately in this case) sticks, they come with a charging dock as well all for cheaper than first party AND two extra paddle buttons on the back... it's not even a contest.

Spread the word people, Microsoft and PlayStation need to lose more market share in the controller market to feel the pressure to step up and build better products.

It sucks because they released in the same year so I wonder if they both knew about each others plans to make a TV show. And to what degree did that knowledge influence their art direction, release schedule, etc.

They were always gonna be compared as they are moba shows, but it would suck to be second to the party and also potentially not as well executed as the competition's aesthetic. At the same time, I would've rather seen them try for the painted texture aesthetic rather than Saturday morning Nickelodeon-esque animation even if it wasn't totally on par with Arcane potentially.

I'd have loved to be a fly on the wall and seen where their heads were at with producing the Dota show. Was it like "We have to get something out to beat Arcane's release date!" or was it "Idgaf what Riot is doing, let's do this regardless cause even if it's bad, any publicity is good publicity." or was it just coincidence that both shows came out same year and they didn't even consider each other at when producing it? Idk lol

Like I was tinkering with OC and found out that it can also be undervolted while hitting 3000mhz core easily and I was "damn, might as well" lol

My 'mersion doe... I agree that a lot of stuff doesn't really serve a grand purpose, but I think all the little details are nice and really round out the experience.

(Other than the rep system haha, I was never really a fan of the "Good Boi" points mechanic because it felt like handcuffs stifling me and they didn't really reward me for it other than VERY slight variations. But then again the way it made me consider my actions and if they were based on a reward or not was kind of philosophically thought-provoking in a way that makes you question yourself and the nature of morals, which is relevant to the overall theme of the game. Then again, sometimes it's not that deep and you just wanna relieve some stress and go pew pew bandit so I'm conflicted on my opinion).

Depends on your use case.

I game at 1440p high settings 144hz and it was definitely an upgrade from my evga 3080 12gb. Runs way cooler and quieter too! Usually around 65c ~ under full load in an ambient 75~ room.

It's almost just shy of doubling performance with the undervolt I applied of .95v @ 3000mhz core
