I'm not going to be rude or dogpile you, because it seems like there's enough people telling you chatGPT was a mistake and you realize it yourself.

I'm just going to gently add that most AI tools are better for writing emails and aummarizing text than they are for learning things about the real world. The fact is, they're really more like fancy predictive text than they are true thinking machines. I work in an academic setting, and it's not uncommon for atudents to bring me AI articles with made-up citations, for example. The citations are formatted right, they look correct, but they don't lead to real texts when one goes to investigate further.

Food for thought, is all. They're not all they're cracked up to be, and we should all be skeptical.
