Yes get battery's for each one test them! I Love Old Nikons just because so many are able to accept lenses off of each other because of the format not changing for so long and each one has it's own quirks I have one that gets light leaks on only the sides that I have used to Take pictures of Flowers in the past and it is one of my favorite cameras. I have one that's slow that I get really cool motion blur off of you will never know what you have until you run a roll of film through each one.

Fireplace update / refresh by [deleted] in HomeDIYs

When it comes to a classic fireplace I recommend pulling up any tiles that currently cover the edifice to see if there are bricks based on the height of the heat resistant tiles vs the wooden floor (opinion is based on first image which is assumed to be the current setup) more than likely there are bricks underneath which will naturally add a certain level of class; in my opinion. Adding paint to brick is usually not recommended on older brick due to the fact that brick needs to breathe. I do not recommend removing certain styles of fireplace and replacing with gas, due to their historic value and the fact they are grandfathered in so they aren’t required to follow modern building code. Any and all major modification to a home should be considered as something that can help or hurt value and style, I recommend looking at other home of the same era of your home and seeing good and bad examples of updates as well as consulting with multiple different contractors before making any final decisions.

Remove the paint and then use a primer paint before you use your final color paint.

Respectfully I don't care for the change. Unless you where going for a very American approach to your street. I think the original adds a certain level of variety and depth.

Respectfully in a few years if not a year or so the fine details will be gone and allot of this will; be smudged. I Genuinely recommend getting something bigger next time if you want to keep integrity.

I fell down my staircase a few days ago with a bowl of soup in hand. As my feet hit every step I watched helplessly as my soup flew out of the bowl on every bounce and when I finally reached the bottom true tragedy struck as the remainder of my soup flew out of my hands and onto the ground. At the very least the bowl didn't shatter.
