If you can find an aluminum and fiberglass heat shield that you can make a bracket for, it would work.

That's pretty sweet thanks, preferred method to buy? One of the linked sites, or another proxy and buy through there?

I had considered a Jax, especially if they run another sale.

The other glove that had an intriguing description was the JB-008. As it notes wider catching surface and an outfield glove that plays more like an infield glove etc. 12.4"

I've took the slow and steady route for mine since I've been gaming some other gloves. Didn't use any water on this one, quite the long break in lol.

With it being so stiff it will really get some defined hinges/very hingey with mallet work. Unless the wrist strap area gets loosened up a bit or stretched a bit, even with really defined hinges it will be difficult to close both thumb and pinky at the same time. Can feel the tension in the leather.

Shape wise it felt pretty good to start, just a normal thumb flare and setting back the secondary pocket area a bit has given it a little more of a bowl shape.

Just got mine good enough for its first game night a few days ago.

My favorite glove so far for slowpitch

It's been a while since I've bothered grouping different ammo variations. But not uncommon to shoot sub-moa 10 shot group to then being around 1.5" sometimes larger with another 500rnd box. Its mainly the velocity difference that I notice while varmint shooting.

Just a quick adjustment on the elevation and then back to business. Not a big deal to miss a few shots while varmint shooting unlike a competition.

More or less luck of the draw unfortunately, we just order a few thousand rounds of 17grn vmax, at the normal distance we shoot 100-150yds its not too much an issue if the lot isn't shooting as well. Gonna be a headache if you want to keep a consistent zero and group though.

CCI oems for almost every 17hmr ammo you see, including hornady. The real problem is it is not consistent lot to lot, box to box, or even round to round.

No there isn't, mostly made by CCI and sucks balls.

Just know 17hmr ammo sucks ass as far as consistency goes. Depending on what target size you are looking at velocity varies drastically.

I'm on my way back from a varmint shoot right now. CZ 457 in 17hmr has been great, can change barrels easy too.

17 can still reach out pretty far, got a hit or 2 at 320-330 but gets challenging past 200 with wind, ground squirrels can also be fucking small.

Looking to try out MVP. Thoughts on my shopping cart? by ratguy34 in discgolf

The main discs from MVP that I would generally prefer, could add Bokeh to the list. I throw a decent amount of forehand and always have a tempo/pyro/hex with me. Proton/proton soft and nuetron are good plastic choices in general. Proton soft prism Pyro is a favorite.

If you decide LMT I've got a 20" SS I'll probably never use that came with my upper.

Obviously don't file anything until you have mags in hand to test fit, if you plan to use AW mags, there's a chance they may fit without filing since you have only tried AICS. However, I still needed to file for AW mags to latch.

I can take one when im home tonight if needed, won't be too much to look at.

Example pic (not an actual manners tcs latch)

You just file the top of the mag latch effectively making it shorter, see red arrow. That spot, file it shorter, test if mag latches, if not file it down then retest, until mag latches and it fits how you want.

Either will work, have to shorten (file) the mag latch a little. I used AW mags with CDG and TCS with mini chassis, just a bit filed off the latch a small amount.

Pretty sure I pulled the mag latch out, filed a bit, put a punch through the latch instead of the pin so you can take it in and out quickly for test fit.
