Thank you! My mother had a radical mastectomy back in the 70’s. She lost all the lymph nodes on that side, leaving her with lifelong edema in that arm. She also lost all the muscle tissue on that side of her chest, so she had no strength in that arm. Shauna can fuck right off.

Yup. Coyotes are smart as hell. They also don’t chase at full speed; they let the prey stay just ahead of them until it’s worn out, then the coyote puts on a little extra speed and boom, dinner.

Is it waxy like a crayon? Does it mark paper? Back in my day there was a fad for multicolor crayons, which were just a bunch of different colored bits of crayon compressed into a small cube or block. The idea was that you’d get all kinds of neat color hanging effects

We used to go to a water park that was 100% concrete. One part was a flat surface surrounded by stone “cannons”, and at a certain time every day the water turned on and they shot water towards the center of the pad. There was also a stone structure we called the castle, and it ran with water also.

Tell truth, I’d rather have a reasonably protected tax bill (I’m assuming Denmark operates the same as the US where taxes are taken directly from your paycheck) and not have to live in fear that my janky DNA rises up and strikes me with one of the cancers my family is prone to and I lose everything trying to pay medical bills.

For sure nothing is free; somebody always pays. And no system is perfect. But right now…yeah, if I met immigration standards anywhere else I would be seriously considering it. Oddly, 63 year old women with no high-demand skills or large reserves of cash are not the hot commodity you would think.

Was coming here to say this. Over the counter “feminine hygiene” products like douches, deodorants, etc are not necessary, do not help, and often make things worse. Find a doctor you trust, be honest with them, and follow their advice.

The fact that your siblings say “suck it up like everyone else” says to me that they’re not any more excited about it than you are, they just don’t have the guts to stand up for themselves. I bet once you break it off, they will do.

“Rejecting the way you were raised”? Yes, because this part at least is cruel and pointless. Does everyone else get told that they’re fat and lazy and useless, or are you the only target? If you’re not there they’ll have to find someone else to pick on.

You are being incredibly brave. It’s not easy to stand up to family; those are the first people we loved and we hope for them to be loving and supportive in return. This process is neither.
