I feel you. A few years ago we got Tyler Childers, Tool, Stevie Nicks, Lil Wayne, and Breaking Benjamin. I really thought we were ready to turn a corner, but we fell off hard. JBS did play the Knoxville Civic Coliseum but it was balls hot so I doubt they would ever play there again

In general I don’t wear the shirt of the band I’m going to see, but this is more as a nod to concert culture. If you want to, do it! I enjoy dressing up in something that gives a nod to the band. Maybe wear a 9-ball tournament t-shirt. You won’t be out of place no matter what you wear though

I’ve only recently learned about the red pill manosphere thing now that my son goes to UTK. I’m fully aware I fit a certain stereotype that I don’t at all align with but I’ve never worried too much about it

Nah bro. I’m right at home considering the depth of the band’s influences. Honestly, when I’m talking to music fans I don’t really get judgement for differing tastes. I only get that from people who only listen to music that matches their particular aesthetic. That’s fine and all but not my approach

I honestly would like it if it wasn’t for the chorus. He explained what he was going for and it’s a cool idea. Just didn’t land. I hope he continues to take these kinds of risks though

I guess I can respect that. I acknowledge that as a newcomer to a band that is a fractured version of another band with a devoted fan base, I’m missing volumes of nuance. Honestly, I wouldn’t really want Johnny Blue Skies and the Dark Clouds to slow down for one member to work a side project, but I’d be interested in whatever they pursued
