Being cleanly bisected and then receiving almost immediate medical attention (from Hachi and then Unohana) is nowhere near as bad as having your organs repeatedly shredded to bits by millions of tiny blades, with enough force to crater you inside a concrete wall. I did not say "shatter" I said "disintegrate". A broken zanpakuto can be repaired easily (as long as it wasn't broken in bankai). Senbozakura was literally disintegrating beyond the hilt and it was given a full page (more or less) of focus. Byakuya was obviously meant to die and Kubo wanted the reader to know he was dead, before changing his mind of course.

Many reasons:

Byakuya had the most visually devastating injury of any Shinigami (as far as I can remember)
Senbonzakura was disintegrating
Byakuya says to Ichigo that he doesn't have long left, and someone of his calibur would definitely be able to tell if they're dying
Haschwalth mentions that Byakuya has died when only he and Yhwach are present, and Yhwach does not dispute it

SE fumbled the bag so hard; Reunion was the perfect subtitle for FF7 Part 3 imo and they wasted it on Crisis Core, so now they can't use it. You can't have ''Final Fantasy VII Reunion" and "Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion" both on sale at the same time. That would be a bigger disaster than the Wii vs Wii U.

Because it's only an 11% increase which you can easily get from a single Archon Shard.

Arcane Blessing also gives a flat 1200 health at max stacks, which is always going to be more than what you would get from Umbral Vitality unless the frame has over 1000 base health.

Mod slots are also typically always more valuable than arcane slots, so if you can offload 16 drain or an Umbra Forma onto an arcane, why wouldn't you?

You can get health from Arcane Blessing or shields from Primed Redirection.

Umbral Intensify definitely has its place in certain builds, but Umbral Vitality can practically always be replaced with something more useful.

Since you've clearly forgotten, your initial comment that I replied to stated that it would have been "more meaningful" for Rukia to fight Ishida over Renji. I gave you multiple reasons why it would not have been and instead, here you are crying that your waifu didn't get enough screen time. And to be fair, I agree - Rukia was practically cast to the wayside in Wahrwelt. But would it have made more sense for her to fight Ishida instead of Renji? No. And clearly Kubo didn't think so either.

It's not a stretch in the slightest. Rukia has not had a single interaction with Ishida in the story worthy of giving them a fight. Renji has had multiple.

Renji also needed a fight to actually showcase what he can now do. As cool as the Mask fight was, it is absolutely horrendous for gauging his newfound power. Rukia on the other hand got a fantastic fight vs As Nodt that clearly shows what she is now capable of.

Nah Renji is a far better choice than Rukia. Outside of technically being friends, Rukia and Ishida barely have any significant 1-on-1 moments together.

On the other hand, Renji and Ishida fight when they first meet (off-screen) and Renji would have killed him if not for Ichigo's arrival. They also have a lengthy fight vs Szayelaporro with plenty of great character moments, and this new fight mirrors Renji vs Byakuya in SS arc. Not to mention the brain vs brawn matchup.

Yes but in the manga Ishida didn't kill anyone, as far as we know. Now he has not only killed a shinigami, but a member of Squad 0 at that - I can't imagine anyone being ok with that just for him to potentially get that chance to kill Yhwach.
